Being one part of the legendary psytrance projects "Rumble Pack" and "Blue Vortex", he already has successfully released two albums and played countless gigs on almost every major Festival in Europe. In 2006 Philip Guillaume has formed his solo-project "MOTION DRIVE" which was dedicated to progressive trance. In short time the first tracks appeared on compilations from labels like Iboga, Iono Music, Spintwist, Blue Tunes, Domo etc. Soon he was asked to rmx some of the biggest Artists like Perfect Stranger, Ace Ventura and Emok/Maelstrom. After some busy years in- and outside his studio, Philip is back with his debut album which is now ready to rumble all international dance floors. So get ready for this very elaborated album which includes 9 intelligent productions and which can not be placed under a particular tag. It is expressing those individual and personal ideas of electronic dance music Philip is well known for. The listeners will find tracks in a wide range from stomping off-beat to groovy progressive which contains unique themes and deep clubby build-ups, offering a funky and groovy mix between trance and house. This fantastic album will find its place in the first row of your CD collection for sure. 3. Motion Drive is a name to watch out for in the progressive scene, having already released tracks on key players like Iboga, Spin Twist and Yellow Sunshine Explosion. He is no newcomer though, as he has for years thrilled psychedelic trance crowds in the projects Rumble Pack, Natural Flow and Blue Vortex with several albums released. On this Digital EP Iboga Records present 3 fresh, melodic and groovy tracks from the upcoming Swiss project - one is a collaboration with Jetlag. Tracklist: 01. Motion Drive - Deception 02. Motion Drive & Jetlag - Balanced Cargo 03. Motion Drive - Borderliner Links: http://www.iboga.dk http://www.progressivetunes.com http://www.beatport.com
  4. Compiled by Emok (Iboga) including an unmixed and a mixed CD. CD1: Track 1-9 unmixed. CD2: Track 10-20 mixed. After many releases for the famous Scandinavian progressive label 'Iboga Records' from Copenhagen - Denmark, with amazingly positive response of the worldwide dj and club community. Dj Emok is messaging back and bridging the gap to his first mixed cd on Wakyo Records. This restless and non-tired DJ is just on the edge to the top of progressive tunes. With 'Dj Emok' he managed a floating, extremely danceable and exciting set with a deep portion of funk that connects what's got to be connected: progressive house, minimal groove and electro- harmonizing to a brilliant live-mix that bounds and excites you till the end. 5. a bit late...but thx for the few replays/reveiws.. @jon cocco I appreciate your honest oppinion and critics, and im can say theres for shure some truth in it. In our opinion the first half of the album is quite the standart full on as you mentiont, but after its changing...at least thats what we feel and tryed to do...in our oppinion its not a standart full on album where every tracks sounds the same... I think Full_on pointet it out quite good in his review above... On the other hand i find it quite funny how you give us the last 1200 mics album as a referenz for non-standart full on..or even astrix... anyway..taste is something you cant disscus about it, and music is always very individual taken by the listener... thx again for your replays
