    Release Notes:

    Title: One

    Release Date: 11.November.2011

    Label: Hypergate Records

    Mastering by: Sidhartha // Audiocrafting.com

    Tracklist:

    01. Alienn - One

    02. Alienn - The Access

    03. Alienn vs Stereopanic - Chemical Kinetic

Alienn needs no introduction so lets go right to the tracks:

    01. One - It's a good track, the melodies are well placed, and the pace convinces me to hear it until the end because it gets more and more powerfull as the time goes on. It ends pretty well with lots of variation in the bass tones and leads, nice start Mr. Patrik ;)

    8/10

    02. The Access - What can i say about this one??? Just hear it and you'll find out why Alienn is one of the best night full on acts nowadays, if you weren't already convinced by his previous work. Amazing arrangement, and so complex that you almost can't believe it's true, this is pure ecstasy. It's that good ;)

    10/10

    03. Chemical Kinetic - The voices at the beggining promise a very good track, and i wasn't wrong, it's a very good combination from these two acts which was something i was expecting because the quality of the artists involved it's undeniable. The end is amazing, with many surprises around the corner. Another great track and great to finish the EP in beauty.

    9/10

Final conclusions: This EP was just like i expected and more, The Access is, probabbly, Alienn's best solo work until now, and proves he's imo the best of the best in this specific genre. The other tracks are very good too and Stereopanic sure brings quality to this release so... What are you waiting to buy it??? Where to buy i hear you saying avidly?? Here:

    Genre: Psytrance Full On

    Duration: 76:59

    Tracklist:

    01. The Spektakle

    02. Overkill

    03. Hyperreality

    04. Solipsia

    05. Ayanami

    06. Indiscernables

    07. Traffik

    08. Perfekt World

    09. Nothing

    10. Simulakra

    11. Akumen

    12. Our Rules (Bonus Track)

    01. The Spektakle-It stats with an intro with some drones fading in and out with a mysterious voice-8/10

    02. Overkill-The track starts with some reverse pads and kick fading in, it has a goa feeling in it, which is good, but the track progresses very slowly, maybe it's because we are still in the beginning of the journey. - 6/10

    03. Hyperreality-I can see goa coming out of this again, it has that feeling. Good bass and solid pads at the beginning, but again, it has some moments, but not much power for what i expected and some tones on the melodies are not much my style. - 6/10

    04. Solipsia-It starts with some clouds synth and a "belly" melody, i'm wondering what this track will end out. All the tracks until now have goa elements in my opinion because at times they remind me of goa genre, but this is not goa, so i will say it's a mix between goa and full on.This is a very interesting catchy track from beginning to end and, for now, the best one! The end is very good!! - 9/10

    05. Ayanami-This one is more scary with low note bass and pads, then comes a melancholic melody, that pushed a little bit more on the morning side, so it's kind of a mix of morning and night elements but in this case, no harm done ;) Good melodic track that i thought for the beginning it would be more scary and "nightier", even though, job well done ;) - 8/10

    06. Indiscernables-This one just grabs you and takes you on a very good journey till the very end, although it's simplicity, it's very effective imo, best one until now ;) I cant help but think that all the tracks have old school elements, with the neo full-on influence from nowadays. - 9/10

    07. Traffik-This on was interesting at the beginning but i lost some of the interest in the track, until futher listens... Average track. Note:good build up at 05:00 and good bass. - 7/10

    08. Perfekt World-Well, this track is, after some listens, in the top 3 tracks of the album for sure, lots of acidic interlaced leads and sweeps, it has all the elements of what a good track needs, and above all, it has power, the best track? Maybe... - 9/10

    09. Nothing-Is this a dream? It really seems, but then the kick fades in and the tension starts, good bassline. Wait a minute, this track is a total smasher!! wow this tracks amazed me, mainly after minute 03:30. And the built in to the end.. Just.. listen ;) No! This one is the best track of the album, period! ;) - 9.5/10

    10. Simulakra-The beginning is very slow, but has it progresses it gets better and better, very nice full on elements in the structure of the track. Since track 6 that i don't feel that old school feeling. - 8/10

    11. Akumen-Has it begins as an introduction to the album, it ends the same way to finish it, (Lost anyone? :P) in a mysterious environment filled with drones and a voice. - 8/10

    12. Our Rules (Bonus Track)-The bass is fat in this one and we get driven mostly by it, good solid track with lots of acidic melodies, good way to finish the album. Good voices too. - 9/10

Final conclusions: I found this to be a solid album, from an artist that it's around here for some time now and he let himself maturate to the point of doing an album simple, but often very effective. I must say that old school elements helped a lot to my positive review of this album, so it starts slow paced but it gets better and better, so recommended for sure ;)

    Favourites: 9, 6 and 4

  3. Hi there, i tried, with synths, to make a track that follows the title exactly. It begins with light, brought by the inicial pads and then i make a transition to the "primordial soup" which brings the brids and crocketts and frogs ;)

This track is still in the very "beginning" but i hope to make a really nice track following this premise ;)

Atomic Future - Beginning of Life

Right now im doing the rest of the track so in 2 or 3 days i'll put some more advance i made with the track. ;)

    Ok, so it's done

  6. Hi there, this review is dedicated to Mr. Trance2MoveU for his imagination to do reviews, keep it up bro B)

Album......: VA - Liquid Legacy-Compiled By Sidhartha

    Genre......: Psychedelic

    Label......: Hypergate Records

    Catalogue..: HGRCD008

    Url........: www.hypergate-records.com

    Tracklist:

1.-Sidhartha Vs. Alienn - Liquid Legacy

2.-Karmacrop Vs. Geko - Explain Yourself

    3.-Khopat - Full Encoding

4.-Spector Vs. Neurotronik - Power Of The Fear

    5.-Tryon - Resonance

    6.-Sidhartha - Omniverse

    7.-Klacid - Train Your Brain

    8.-D-Maniac - Personal Decisions

9.-Nature Disaster Vs. Shaddai - Clone Wars

10.-Magneto Vs. Brainwash - The Trip

After seeing the tracklist i thought, Sidhartha can do better than this:

1.-Sidhartha Vs. Alienn - Liquid Legacy

A collaboration from these two has potencial to turn into something amazing, but it was not really the case.

The intro doesn't remind me at all none of the artists involved in this track, then the kick/bass starts and we are starting to get a bunch of known effects and leads by the two artists. As the track evolves it gets more intense but nothing unexpected happens nor the breaks are complex. The end is still the best part of the track, but nothing we never heard before. Average "plus" track, considering the potencial involved.

    7.5/10

2.-Karmacrop Vs. Geko - Explain Yourself

The begining is promising, with good filtred snare loops and good pace. The break at 02:00 is too long and doesnt enter with much power, only after a break or 2 it gets better. Again the end is the best part, but nothing spectacular.

    7.5/10

    3.-Khopat - Full Encoding

I had great expectations about this track, because im loving new Khopat tracks and this track is a big WOW!!!

The start is typically Khopat's style. At 01:10 we start having fun and jumping, and from then to the end it's a non stop full-on journey with very inteligent starts and breaks that left your brain melted hehe. From 02:30 and on we get a jaw-dropping in your face masterpeace by khopat until the end.

One of, if not his best track to date, simply amazing track, the compilation is worth only for this track ;) Very good job my "friend" Vasco and don't get upset, because i love your work and respect it a lot ;)

After some listenings of this track i found myself dancing like this old drunk guy:

    9.5/10

    So far so good:

2 average/good tracks and a "Shockwave Bomb", let's go to the next one, shall we?

4.-Spector Vs. Neurotronik - Power Of The Fear

I don't really know these two artists very well, so i don't know what to expect, but from what im hearing it has good pads and some good snare breaks. This one is more on the melodic side of full-on even if the melodies are the scary type. This one has a really good pace, good melodies and breaks. It grabbed me yes sir.

    8/10

    5.-Tryon - Resonance

Sorry but like this track, i've heard many times before, not much to say about this track because it's very average. Some goos breaks and melodies here and there but nothing to write home about. In the end the things get better but thet do not overshadow the rest.

    6.5/10

    6.-Sidhartha - Omniverse

Sidhartha wastes no time and delivers the kick/bass soon in the track. He does not do bad tracks and this one is no exception, even thought i heard better from him, because i love his work. A solid 8.

    8/10

    7.-Klacid - Train Your Brain

Wow , this one is a burner, really cool effects and leads with good rhythm. I'm starting to like this guy because he manages to grab us until the very end of the track, and that's a good think i guess.

    9/10

    8.-D-Maniac - Personal Decisions

Again, wow, i say this because there are so many portuguese artists in this compilation ;)

Now we have a more light side of the full-on, but really it doesn't grab me so much, full-on is power and this is more on the morning side for me. He made a good job on this one, but i think it doesn't fit well on this compilation. After another listening i thought i had to put the thing below:

Are they f#cking with me and i don't know?

    6/10

9.-Nature Disaster Vs. Shaddai - Clone Wars

Back to the twilight, here we have a good collaboration with each one making his part of the song very well, good one yes, the end is amazing imo.

    8/10

10.-Magneto Vs. Brainwash - The Trip

Great premise ;) Magneto + Brainwash = Brain Melting Bomb !!! Really? Not so much... And that's a shame, but it stays the effort, because after all the tracks i listened before, exception made to D_Maniac this one doesn't really stand out. Many break and sh!t but nothig really effective, if you know what i mean.

    7.5/10

    Final thoughts:

After seeing the "crew" involved in this compilation i thought: It's going to be one hell of a compilation, and it was, but hell got a little bit colder after track 6 ;)

Go buy it, because it's worth it, only for the Khopat track hihi, cheers.

Ps:I hope this review does a little justice on Trance2MoveU excelent reviews ;)

Going to bed im tired after trying to make this:

  7. Lyrics to the first half of the first track:

“Don’t let yourself or your ears be offended by improper or unscheduled sounds. If for example the record is scratching, ok! You wouldn’t object to it if you were listening to it sitting by a fire, crackling... Simply close your eyes and allow your ears to hear all sounds around you. Don’t try to label or identify these sounds, just hear them as you would listen to music. As when you hear a flute or guitar, don’t worry about what it means, your brain will take care of that by itself. Just let your eardrums respond as they will to all vibrations .now. that we have.”

    Strong words ;)

  8. Hi there, i decided to make a mix of the progression of full on since 2000. Of course there are acts like cosma that aren't full on, but i simply coundn't resist ;)
