Agreed its a step back from the last album, still worth playing though. In discogs style I gave it 4/5.

Dang being poor, I want Jikooha. Anyways, off topic here sorry but if your DJing local let me know!

Hey Tatsu, been awhile. Take advantage that shipping has gone up here but I will leave it as is. You will have to send me progressive recommendations too. I read your post the other day (favourite style except goa thread) and since you like stuff with melodies, twists etc and hate minimal and repeatative. That and I know we had alot of the same recommendations when it came to full-on some time back =)

Everyone who talks to me either calls any trance I listen to 'Techno' or if they know a little more they say 'Hey, you listen to house dont you?'. I fucking hate House & Techno so that bothers me haha >_<

In terms of full-on heres my top 5 so far of this year
Beat Hackers - Not For Sale
Intersys - Recharge
Transwave - Frontfire
Various - Trance Red Zone - Turning Point
Vibe Tribe - Destination Unknown
Although I have only brought 10 full-on CDs so far
Just got Morfix - Unstable, havent given that a good listen yet
-
Personally I love full-on, its how found psy & goa.
I like the Israeli style, melodic stuff which is good since I came from a regular trance background.
Its true theres alot of crap but all comes down to your own taste.
-
Cheers guys, gives me something to listen to while at my desk at work.
I picked this time period as I found out about Psy near the end of '06. Just to cover a few years eariler of some hidden treasures I may have missed.

Well I too consider South African a style of Full On, but many ppl use to see it as an independed style, that's the reason I added it as a separate option.
I do agree with you there, the difference is big enough to easy seperate them.
Whats some of your fav SA psy Ormion? Pitch Hikers - Twilight Zone is still top on my list.
Going to buy Shifts new CD on my next order. SA style has been slow this year so far.
Do you recommend any 3Dvision or Nutek etc releases? Stuff inbetween full-on day & night.
-
I voted full-on but with the intention of both day and night... Israeli & South African
-
Yeah I have to say the OOOD track was very weak but things pick up from there.
4/5 rating. Worth buying for sure. Good to see another label coming with more GOA.
-
I love the morning GOA. Uptempo, warm basslines & acid melodies but in a more peaceful way.
Something that works in any mood weather I am relaxing or hyped up. Loving it hope theres more coming!
Its hard to express the way you feel listening to this album. Its just bliss, you melt into your chair feeling wonderful.
-
E-Mantra - Radiant Vision (Dome Rmx) - Is f'ing awesome. Love that breakbeat GOA. More please!
Track 2 is good but the sample is a little annoying. Track 9 does not do much for me but everything else is great.
GOA is the only genre I will buy without listening to samples. Its slowly getting stronger again!
-
Primi TB is indeed a great track. The whole Bright Side album is awesome, a good variation of music. Does anyone know how The Inner Light compares?
djsuisav - Try some compilations. Trance Red Zone - Turning Point on Highwaystar Recordings would give you some good ideas, best '09 full-on comp so far.
-
Anyone know of any psy breaks coming out or even from the last year?
If you like trance Israeli full-on is heading alot more that way year after year.
GOA is getting stronger & stronger with Suntrip & Phototropic, cheers guys!
-
Vibe Tribe is great stuff. Love the work on both albums.
Hope their new release gets put on CD. Dont want a compact stick.
-
Its quite a good album. Thing I like with DNA is its simple but nice music. Its a good balance of bassline and melodies. Type of trancey full on thats good to relax too.
-
If you like full on then you would probably like the release.
I reckon its pretty good but as usual since they are previously GOA its obvious not many people will like there new work. If you ignore that fact and listen its some good stuff. I heard some tracks from '08 before this album release and they sounded like sh!t so I was supprised when listening to samples then the album how good it is.

Can I thead hijack here? Looking for a cerain type of chill myself.
I dont like ambient that much, need a beat going on so more downtempo I guess?
Alot of what abasio mentioned I like, newage goa downtempo and those old Astral tracks are awesome. I like alot of the Israeli full-on albums where they finish in a downtempo/breakbeat track too. Listening to Asura Life album, its has some nice tracks. Again I prefer a beat but loving the cinematic type tracks, strings or synths etc. Dang the last track on Life2 is nice.
Could anyone help recommend from that type of explaination?

Psygone - Optimystique
For $11.50 USD... Score!
-
If anyone knows where I can get my hands on these please share!
Indra - Killer Machine
Pixel - Reality Strikes Back
Various - Positive Alchemists 3
Electric Universe - Cosmic Experience
These have evaded my collection for awhile so thought I should ask.
-
Prodigy - Breath (Numbernin6 rmx) worth a listen..
Jackal and Cheshire - Angel (original)
Those are some kick ass examples of stuff I like, thanks for that.
Any CDs out I could buy which have tracks along that style?

Azax Syndrom vs Bliss - Round 1

Again 4/5...
I dont understand about the sound not having enough 'warmth' considering this is supposed to be more harder and heavy than trancey full-on.
