Just messing around with my Discogs and realised I only have 4 GOA releases from this year! Here's what I have so far:
Lectro Spectral Daze - Voyage in your Mind
Celestial intelligence - perpetual Energy
Afgin - Old is Gold Selected Tunes
Radical Distortion - 12 Dimensions
What am I missing that's good sh!t? Just ordered the new Amithaba Buddha album cos I love his style.
-
Sorry they are overdone sometimes but just listened to Nebula Meltdown - Stardust Chronicles and its brilliant.
It's regular tempo music but it just sounds so relaxing. So is there anything else like it? Can be any genre.
-
Besides a few GOA comps how is the rest of their line up and are the CDs easy to obtain?
Just gave Lectro Spektral Daze a listen and that's gone straight into my buy list.
-
Is it possible to limit 1 CD per purchase so we can avoid people that want to profit and guarantee any one who is seriously interested in the music gets a copy? I have a serious problem with resellers, its especially bad in the retro game scene.
Sorry to be a bit negative there. Look forward to getting a copy to have and listen too!

I was a bit concerned seeing no votes in 5 days!

Was listening to some tracks today. As soon as I heard Flithy Luka brought the CD. That is a brilliant trance track that will probably male it to some of my fav tracks ever.
-
Awesomesauce.
Will there still be a repressed MR1 along with it?
-
Did I start a trend here?
-
Heya Anoebis. Are you likely to have plenty of stock so that if I wait for Filteria I could buy em both at the same time?
-
Got in just in time for a LE copy =]
Anjuna - Out of interest besides myself, has anyone else from New Zealand ordered a copy? (only if thats easy to look up)
-
Oh, so we are not talking about me in here? =P
-
6/10 - Not my style of psy but quite listenable and nothing put me off so good stuff

Just received the Hunab Ku CD today hence this track!

Everyone has their own personality. Be yourself and dont worry about those 'haters'. Continue doing what you enjoy.

Cool full album.
Mr. Fractal, will your label be releasing CDs or online downloads?
-
6/10 - I like it but feel its a little long, takes awhile to progress.
This song may be to cheesy but energises me:

Astrix - Artcore
Nice. I thought no one would be interested in this release here, its really good.
-
6/10 - Again Im not big on ambient/downtempo but its a pretty pleasant song
Some darkish DnB by Upbeats, New Zealand artist:
-
Crap! I have not heard this song in ages... When I first started searching about GOA in 2006 and found the Yellow Sunshine GOA comps. It was not GOA but I learnt about PSY. This was one of the first tracks I remember hearing. My recommendation:
MGM - Mean Green Machine
-
6/10 - Its nice but feels like its missing something (maybe cos its short for a trance track?)

Changing styles here so may again not be everyones cup of tea, bit of DnB.
Will post something by a New Zealand artist next time!

Cheers guys. In the process of listening while doing deskwork. Also listening to Hunab Ku, that albums going straight into my wantlist!
-
Hey guys. A while back I asked for some help with labels/comps and from that I listened to probably a few hundred CDs, big thanks for that. What Im after this time is there any good compilations from lesser known labels or just not as big as some of the others?
I dont have many examples in my collection/wantlist except:
Tokyo Tekno Tribe - Tokyo Tekno Tribe
Mark Allen - Deck Wizards
Balagan - Symbiosis
They may be well known for the crowd thats more familiar with GOA but not to me. Not expecting a huge list but anything you think deserves mention and that is not too expensive or easy enough to get a hold of. Thanks in advance again for the massive help!

haha, all good, each to their own...
As for your track, 7/10. Something I have not heard in some time either but liked it the first time I heard although it may have been a remix. I will look around
I couldnt find a few tracks I wanted to post, a bit disapointed so Im going to do a random one instead:

There is a difference, especially in track development and the pace. Ofcourse all is a matter of taste but the way how Goalien used his melodies is a lot different and more psychedelic than it's case in PA's track. I agree with you, and as I said earlier, this track by PA's is just an example, his other tracks are much much better and I enjoy them alot, but really can't stand that type of nitzho.
The difference I see is just the person that made it, their style BUT, listening to music in the car this morning I came across this track:

Does that count as cheese? Just part of it didnt sit too well with me, mainly around the 6:20 mark.
Thanks for trying to 'educate' me, haha
