PERSONAL NITZHONOT RATING SCALE:

5 stars: Close to perfection. Makes me automatically dance or feel like I'm floating in space. I may feel like crying of joy if I listen to it.
4.5 stars: Usually good-quality Nitzhonot. Makes me automatically happy.
4 stars: Average rating for Nitzhonot. I enjoy it.
3.5 stars: Usually lower-quality Nitzhonot, or Nitzhonot that's "slow" without compensating with maximalism or with psychedelic elements. Underwhelming. I wouldn't chose to listen to a Nitzhonot track from that quality after the first time I did for discovery purposes (except to remind myself of what it sounds like).
3 stars: Usually very amateurish music with poor melodies. Very underwhelming.
2.5 stars: Very amateurish music with poor melodies. Kind of boring. I may actually get sad if I listen to it. Or laugh at it if it sounds so amateurish that it becomes funny.
2 stars: Boring. I never felt this bad about Nitzhonot. (... but I almost did with Balbalot!)
≤ 1.5 stars: Let me reach 2/5 first to know what my Nitzhonot 2/5 means before I even attempt to know how I would feel about ≤ 1.5 stars Nitzhonot.

REVIEW:

The Psyentist - Position of Power

A nice fusion of different synths, with some lovely old school snares! Some nice drum patterns as well! But a few synths sound too loud to me. Not a big issue, though! Loving the karamouza with a delay on!

4/5

Chemical Reaction - Meteoron 2

Some regular Uplifting, this time I'd say some synths are not loud enough ahah! The melody is okay, but I don't find it too interresting. I like the energetic part at 4:01 though! Oh, and obviously, this track features a pirate dance break! xP

3.8/5

The Psyentist vs Chemical Reaction - Inception

Wow, it starts very fast! And it stay energetic the whole duration!

This one was not made for rave pirates, but for space car lovers from what the sweeper choice tells me. Somehow, some melodies remind me of the French rock band Indochine! x') This track feels very European to me.

4/5

The Psyentist vs Chemical Reaction - Pl312k80 (Album Version)

I find this track repetitive and pretty unremarkable.

3/5

The Psyentist - Circus Ninjas

On the other hand, I find this one pretty interresting. It features a bit of Chiptune influences and an enjoyable melody from 1:35 to 2:59! But I don't really like the rest of the melodies. I'd also say the kicks and the basses are too loud.

3.6/5

The Psyentist - Soul Is

Nice energy and melody starting from 2:13! The part from 3:04 to 3:30 kind of reminds me of the French (once again! accidental patriotism!) Electro House / Euro Trance artist Pakito! And then, at 4:38, it goes back at being nice Greek stuff! :)

4.2/5

Chemical Reaction - Galaxy Traveller

Holy shit! Not only did I find the (long) intro nice and not boring despite its length, but what came after hits! But then, it does not stay as good in my opinion, unfortunately.

4.2/5

Kozmik Sounds - Electro Life

This is not really Nitzho. There's an intro with a robot who speaks too much. "Electro life". Yes, I get it. I'll reboot you so that you can stop repeating the same thing over and over again! Also, this riser sounds lame lol

However, I like this fake guitar(?) (that many Uplifting artists seem to use)! I'd say that this track is overall decently executed, but just not my style.

2.8/5

Kozmik Sounds - Unter Dem Einfluss

Same artist here, and you hear the same guitar(?) and the same psychedelic sounds, but also... a bass! It sounds nice! And LOUD! Maybe Kozmik Sounds realised how loud kicks tend to be in Uplifting and decided to do the same with the bass, but I don't think it works very well here... 😕

4:36: Holy shit, this synth is loud!

Oh, and there's a new riser sound! It's just as lame as that of the previous track lmao

2.8/5

COMPILATION RATING: 3.6/5

For a lesser known Uplifting release, I find it pretty decent as it features some well executed tracks, but it's also pretty hit-or-miss!
