Using this thread to inform you all of a new radio show that I am starting with my friend Henry tomorrow that I thought some of you might be interested in tuning in to. It's called Eclectic Electric and is dedicated to all genres of non-commercial, eclectic, interesting and just damn good electronica, both old and new. We also intend to do artist, genre and technology spotlights, live mixes, mini-mixes and interviews (hopefully.) I think a lot of people on this forum would like the type of music that we plan to play, so do tune in! We're also interested in promoting DJs and unsigned producers across the world, so if any of the producers on here have recently written a track that they feel would be worthy of hearing on our show then feel to get in touch, send it to us and hopefully we'll be able to get in on the show! Also if you're a DJ we'd be interested in playing any mini-mixes that you've made (mixes of around 10 minutes in length chopping and changing between a few tracks), so again feel free to get in touch, send us your mix and we'll get it on the show. Similarly, I know some good, signed producers lurk on this forum so if you live in england or happen to be anywhere near birmingham on the weekend and fancy coming in for an interview to promote your stuff then get in touch and we'd be glad to have you on the show! I'd also like the utilize the vast music knowledge that lots of people have on this forum, so if you're really a digging a track as of late (preferably one that has been recently released) then use this thread to let us know about it and we'll get in on next weeks show. The tracks can be from any genre of electronica... Would be REALLY helpful if people could do this, as we can't keep fully up to date with everything that comes out, so keep those tracks coming! You can also use our facebook group to do this, as well as to keep up to date with the tracks we play and news etc about the show.
