I don't understand why his lawyers can't get him off of drug charges for promoting a party, unless he really was promoting drugs AND a party. But by the sounds of it I doubt that's the case... perhaps the next party should be on someone's private property so if the policia or AFI or whatever step foot there they can be criminally charged unless they have the right papers in order... hard to get them on the night of a party I would imagine. Guest unikos Posted March 6, 2003 Share Posted March 6, 2003 this is a very lame question but it popped up in my head and i have to ask: do you know that arturo in fact didnt sell any drugs? because in my country people have been busted for such stuff and in some cases the charge "he sold drugs" was possibly true...... anyway, i wish that the mexico scene will keep up and your voices will be heard! It was one of my most memorable parties! It is *really* sad to hear this... I hope you guys stay cool and fight back this oppression in a rational and effective way. How much rantsom can they possibly demand? In the meanwhile, let's hope Arturo will be spared in the Mexican jail. The only thing I dare to say it´s for real is that the AFI and the Mexciac Government is trying to fuck the party sceen big time. Guadalajara just had an other incident with the pigs a cuple of weeks a go and they´ll keep doing this. We can make partys with the government permission but under theyr rules we have to stop at 3am tops, have a few police officers in order to remain the order (thats what they say), the thing is nobody shows under that kind of rules... One thing poping in my head now is why you fellow forners answer this threat before the mexican brothers/sisters? We have to stay unite to fight this kind of problems. rx7style: the pigs are trying to fuck us all big time. Theyr only interested in give party promoters a big problem... Guest masala Posted March 7, 2003 Share Posted March 7, 2003 I think that the real problem here is about drugs....This kind of parties were the 'THA HOUSE of drugs...we ALL know that....it'really bad that this kind of things have to happen to realize that there is a culture behind this big time drug selling...I don't think that the police is after this culture (they don;t give a damed), but after the quikly abuse of drugs in teenagers and so.....
