Following a chance meeting at a university radio station, the collaboration was formed in 1994. At first focussing on live performance in the chillouts of the burgeoning Melbourne trance scene, composition for theatre, animation and installation has been their primary staple for the last few years. Iaminthedirectory represents a culmination of their recent work, fusing the textures of found sound, vintage electronics, a Roland sampler with faulty memory and occasional gestures towards jazz.
