Puck Posted August 4, 2006 Share Posted August 4, 2006 -------> http://www.feathersfamily.org/ Feathers, an eight-piece psychedelic folk-rock collective whose members split their time between Northampton and Brattleboro, Vt., have been signed to Gnomonsong, a new label started by ''freak folk" star Devendra Banhart and Vetiver's Andy Cabic in conjunction with Revolver Distribution. The collective, which boasts five songwriters, has a pair of self-released CDs (as well as a vinyl LP version of its forthcoming Gnomonsong release) to its credit. Its self-titled Gnomonsong debut is due out next month. Feathers joins Texas-based singer-songwriter Jana Hunter, whose ''Blank Unstaring Heirs of Doom" CD was released by Banhart and Cabic's label last year. is good, yes...
