Guest strou[at]mail[dot]tele[dot]dk
It totally kicks ass. This is the best comp. so far this year. I especially like the Fuzzion track "Brown eyed Girl"....whoohheee. 10/10 for sure. JUST GO GET IT!
Guest Pierre
Totally agree with the above!! Micha Yossef did a great job! Only good tracks,no fillers, and placed in the right order which makes this comp sound like a whole. I just LOVE it!!(esp.XV Kilist) A must-have! Guest KVIN2000
I have mixed feelings about this one. from track four (including) until the end it is mind blowing, Really beautiful pounding stuff. A must have. The problem in my opinion are the first 3 tracks. Don't get me wrong, I think that minimalism and the absence of melodies is good to some extent (some of my favorites include hux flux, Spiral active project, Darshan and Xenomorph - you can't really categorize these as melodic). But tracks 2 and 3 are basically a pounding kick drum, a one note bass line repeating, and once in a while a sound or two and maybe some percussion work. A total bore. track 1 is better but still not my cup of tea. I guess this tracks will be great to dance to(their rythem is hypnotic) but, in my opinion, not very enjoyable as home listening. So.....I think it is a good buy (especially because of tracks 4-9) but it is not intended for the melodica lovers.
Guest Ktaadn
So, we're halfway through the year 2000. What better time to evaluate the state of psy-trance? Opinions vary, but I see now as the most exciting time ever, musically speaking. Psy-trance has truly gone global, with regional styles emerging from all points of the world. Each has got soul and spirit, but none has come on so strong as the Scandanavian/Northern European "progressive" sound. Love it or loathe it (and I f**kin' LOVE it), there's no denying that dancefloors are blowing up like never before. That said, "Under Construction" is THE definitive collection of psy-trance in the 21st Century. Standouts are XV Kilist, Fuzzion and S-Range but every track is a stormer. As compilations go, this is as good as it gets. Dunno why they call it "Under Construction" though -- this one's a finished work of art. Not to be missed. 9.5/
Anoebis
Normally I don't like Minimalistic Trance, but this CD is something different... It has such great rhytms that even I like it!! )) If melodic Trance-lovers wanne taste some Good Progressive Goa, then buy this one for sure!!! Best tracks are 2,3,4(!!!),6,8 Bom Shankar
Guest Goantimaterie
S-Range rulezzzzzzzzzzz... When will they ever release an album???? This whole CD is awesome but the S-range tracks are even better!!! More like this please!!!
Guest Pit-UFO
This Cd sounds so awful that is very hard to enjoy. The engineer that compilated should be sued by the psytrannce community. A really bad job there, the low frequencies are so close to distortion that it takes away the medium ranges. The Brow Eyed Girl and the S-Range tracks are really good. 2/10, because of the poor sound quality.
Guest AlexG
starts off boring, but after 3 tracks it starts kicking! s-range and fuzzion track are best here in my opinion. finally russians started making psy-trance (fuzzion, paranoic sensations, in r voice)! makes me proud =) 8/
Guest Zoltar
Oh yeah babe, not so psychedelic but dark like hell. Spirillianz lovers this is for you. As usual, don't use cheapo speakers, listen loud and find yourself a brain. [ 9/10 ]

Guest Ubik
First three tracks don't do it for me, too minimal, after that it's amazing. The Fuzzion track is awesome, dark atmosphere, cool break... The 3 tracks after are very good, quite powerful, and last track by Noma is my second favourite, everything fit so right ! I also think bass are too heavy. Overall 8.5/
