Last year atleast three really great oldschool-goa albums were released, the ones made by RA, Dimension5 and Electron Wave. Christer Borge-Lunde is a member in all of those and when he´s making music together with Charlie Clarke and Nik Wenham they call themself Electron Wave. Both tracks on this EP are previously released on the Electron Wave album "The uncertainty principle". "Temporal Distortion" (9/10) has almost everything I want from an oldschool goa-anthem; energy, powerful beautiful melodylines and loads of atmosphere. "Neuron Tranceiver" (5/10) hasn´t got that little extra that makes "Temporal Distortion" such a great track. Instead it sounds just plain old even though it´s made in 2001. This EP is very suitable for all of you who whines all the time about all the boring minimal trance that´s being released nowdays. Thanks to Christer and his friends you´ll be able to live in the past for some months more. I must admit though that the music is very good and that I have to fight the urge to dig into the older parts of my recordcollection after I´ve listened to this EP. Neuron tranceiver, interesting track.
