Rumtreiber 02. Viritual Review: I´ve never been so keen on the Mediumlabel with that slow boring sound but this release sounded different so I bought it anyway. "Native Radio" (7/10) is still very much related to the slow progressive sound but it has something else that I really like, atmosphere!!! And that´s the difference between this and hundreds of other similar tracks. That chugging beat will not impress me, but combined with those nice long sweeping sounds and that morning feeling... Aaaaah! Bastian Hoffmann did a great job on this one! "Rumtreiber" (7/10) is somewhat similar to "Native Radio". It´s pretty slow and monotonous but I like the groove, and it´s really morningfriendly stuff too. This is what I want to hear when I´ve been dancing all night. This kind of music makes wonders to your body when your standing there on the dancefloor with your eyes closed, thinking stupid thougts like "hmm... I should rest now" or "maybe it´s time to go home". "Viritual" (5/10) is the weakest track on this ep but sounds pretty similar to the other two tracks. I´m surprised I like this release at all! I shouldn´t ;-) I usually don´t like slow progressive stuff so this should be a real killer for those of you who usually like this kind of music. The title track is so hard and unrelenting, whilew still keeping quite a melodic feel to it. 9/10 for that track.
