It´s an incredible morning-anthem and it´s my alltime favourite in that category. The track has elements from both the dark night and the fluffy morning. The combination of a dark atmosphere with a smooth echoing carpet of sounds makes this track stand out from all other morning-trance I´ve heard. I get the feeling that this track describes the loss of the dark night instead of celebrating the arrival of the morning. There´s no question that Boris Blenn really got everything right with this track, atleast if you ask me! This track is melodic but still pretty monotonous, it´s full-on but also pretty minimal. This is a paradox of course but still very true! If I have to compare this track to anything it would be to the Atmos-track "Klein Aber Doctor" (original version). I hope you understand something of this review :-) It is a very special track and if you find it, buy it! "High Fly" (7/10) is a good morningtune too but you can´t compare it to the masterpiece "Love Is Not A Crime". They may sound similar but I think the difference is huge. "High Fly" hasn´t got that touch of the night that "Love Is Not A Crime" has. "High Fly" is a much more traditional morningtrack but I still think it´s great. Quite a dreamy track, less psychedelic, but sooooo catchy and a joy to experience. Excellent use of reverb in Love Is Not A Crime, and it makes a spacey kind of atmosphere, with as mentioned above some pumping acid riffs, and it's a great morning-night music combination... definitely check this EP out. 9/10 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
