Review:

This is better than average compilation, but despite its name it isn't so

goa. I think it's more like acid trance, but it has that little psychedelic

edge. It's quite melodic compared to the new minimalistic goa trance, but

every song is so similiar to each other. If you are a hard-to-bone goa fan,

you might not like this CD, because it's just acid based and doesn't have

much themes and not much spot effects. Track 1 starts the CD nicely, and I

think it's the best song on the whole CD. Others are nice and hypnotic. I

have to complain about the mixing though, some songs' peak levels are much

higher than others. For you people, who don't want to see any grades:

"Close your eyes NOW!" :), and for the other people, here it comes: "6.85 /

10."

Lots of artists in here I wouldn't excpect to see in a goa compilation, even if

this is really more of a acid comp than a goa comp. Never heard this kind of

music from for instance mickey finn. Saw him Live a coupple of years ago, and

it was all drum'n bass.

I was sort of suprised by this one, though. Bought it really cheap at a sale,

and had no real hopes for it to be any god. A few nice tracks in here, no

killers, an ok disc to play from time to time 5/10 bom!
