Spiritual Crisis Review: I realized allready after the first release that Moon Spirits was going to be something very special, and then when the second ep (Talamasca vs Manitu´) finally was released... well.. I bought it without listening to it. I didn´t like it at first so that ep kind of got forgotten. Some months have now passed so I´ll try to listen to it again. The titletrack "Genetic Monster" (6/10) by Talamasca and Manitu´ is standard 3D-Vision quality but not much more. I just wrote the review for another Talamascarelease and how do I explain why I don´t like this as much as his latest release on Spiral Trax? Call me stupid but I can´t do that. This one is also up-tempo, partfriendly and everything else you connect to french psytrance but I don´t find it as good as that last release on Spiral Trax International, that´s just it! "Celestial Lines" (5/10) reminds me of South Park. I don´t know if the samples really are taken from South Park but it sounds that way. I don´t think this track is so exciting but if you´re really into the 3D-Visionstuff... you might like it? "Spiritual Crisis" (5/10) has a really nice end but I don´t like the beginning. It´s hard to tell why I don´t like this track but if it would have sounded like the last two minutes of the the track, I would then have loved it! This is the weakest release from Moon Spirits but I know that they have released several other great records since this was released so I´m not worried. I think genetic monster is a great track, 8/10, but celestial lines is not so good for me and spiritual crises is mastered bad, it sounds to dull. The genetic monster has a very cool bass line and nice vocals, I always wanna dance when I hear this track!!! The sound is indeed standard 3D, but I like that sound.
