This album really has uppers and downers. Especially bad songs are: CD1 track 5 (it's just plain ugly) and CD2 track 8 (those vocal really screw up that track). Also that first song on CD1 is not quite in league here, as it sounds more like hardtrance without beat ... Perhaps it's just me, I mean, it's not that it's bad, but I think this doesn't really suit on a comp. like this. Some highlights then? Sure, the Tarsis and X.I.S. tracks are great, as is that track from Der Spyra, which also stands out because of it's lenght of over 11 minutes, a rare thing on this particular comp, since it's mostly filled with songs in the 5,6 minutes mould. The Rootsman is a funny track, it reminds me of tropical islands and stuff. Anyway, if you're looking for some good chill out songs, this comp will suit you right. I give this one 7,5/10. And i totally agree with you on the vocals in track8 cd2 ;-/ My favorites are: koxbox - go fly a kite (this chanting is just AMAZING and sooooo trippy 8-)) tarsis - broken and klangstrahler projekt - nexxus (although i prefer the non-backwards vocals in the original mix - "ich habe dinge gesehen...")
