Review:

This album is quite crappy psychedelic / tech trance, some parts really sound

like someone played around with some kind of music maker (track 2, 4).

Horrible mastering, too much reverb, no style at all, no inventive parts,

many old fashioned - 303 sounds, just boring ...

This albums lacks of almost everything that makes Goa / Psy so interesting.

Acceptable tracks could be 1 and 7. This release isn't worth buying, its even

not worth downloading... 2/10

you think this is crappy... check out the single from this guy that remixes

"jingle bells"... way to go flying rhino, now you're in the big leagues.

Kinetico is Massimo Vivona ... among the very first to produce what we today

call progressive or minimal trance.

I can just say that because of his old releases on Headzone and Groundgroove he

will always be on my top list but I'm really sorry to say that he isn't

inovative anymore and what he does today he've already done so many times

before ... if massimo would have developed he would make masterpieces!

But I absolutly think that this release is worth buying or at least give it a

listen

I agree with mister Son Kite above, his older stuff on groundgroove is really

excellent and I really like the stuff released as Kinetico on flying rhino

too. It's not revolutionary perhaps (though Massivo Vivona has done more for

trance music than most others ever will), but oh so well produced, warm and

dancable. This is feel-good music, *quality* progressive trance, with an

emphasis on trance. If you're into full-on goa then look elsewhere, but if you

enjoy Son Kite, Ticon and similar artists you'll LOVE this.

The psychedelic-sounding stuff never was Massimo Vivona's strong side.

However Just as Sebastian and ukiro says, this man is a legend and have made

various at the time incredibly groundbreaking and creative killer-tracks

released on his two own imprints that always will stay on my alltime top-list.

Respekt.

However if this sounds anything like the really crappy jinglebells ep on flying

rhino then keep away and instead try digging up some of his progressive stuff

on some of his old vinyl-releases or get the massimo vivona - 001 album.

I bought this eventhough i didnt like it in the store, cause i thought its

Massimo,so it has to be cool, but it really isnt. I liked the single that came

out this summer on Headzone, so not all of Massimos new stuff sucks, but this

LP really does. It doesnt go anywhere, the sounds are old and not even good at

that, and there are some Gigi D'Agostino like cheese vocals on some songs,

please!!! Massimo what has happened to you? Like some Athletes maybe some

Artists should retire. Or maybe you should change the presets on your synths

or maybe even buy a new one. Anyway, i am very sorry, 4/10 (thats generous)
