Guest Xpo2002 Posted April 24, 2002 Share Posted April 24, 2002 Xpo is an Exhibition and a 6-day Open-Air music festival that will be held in the country of Bulgaria in the second week of august. The event will be a first of it's kind, and we hope will begin a tradition for the future. The event will take place in Bulgaria, a beautiful country that has a huge potential for events of it's kind. Bulgaria has the advantage of being easily accessible from both east and south Europe, Israel and Western Europe. Bulgaria has all the infrastructures needed for such an event. The location that we have secured is a big farm in a secluded area within the wild nature and a big waterfall on location. The Event will be promoted through all available channels of promotion. Advertising in Scene magazines, The Internet (a site is being built as we speak) and localized promotion in many countries. Xpo will be an event to that will let labels showcase their talent within the form of a "label event" that will be held as part of the festival. The big event is planned as a festival with 3 different stages. The main stage will function as several "label parties" of the biggest or musically interesting labels. So that the exact lineup of the festival will be set by the labels. Besides the music areas there will be the regular festival stall market, food stalls, alternative healing area, children day care and playgrounds, in short all the usual festival stuff BUT here comes the extra. We will have a dedicated area for label and other musical presentation, every participating label will have a stall / tent presenting all the news that the label has to offer. Those stalls will serve as a focal point for the event. This is one of the things that make this event different form other trance festivals. The Chill out stage and the minor stage will also function with help from labels. They will actually serve as more exhibition space. Since this is a music exhibition we will provide a lot of facilities for exhibiting music.
