I am going there just for a week so I would really appreciate any recomendations about places to visit or nice beaches to camp (not organized camping)!!!! Guest someone Posted July 23, 2003 Share Posted July 23, 2003 Free camping is prohibited but still a lot of people are doing it in halkidiki. There is a fine 150 euros. Anyway if you do not want to go to an organised camping try to go to tristinika about 15 kilometers from the party just before toroni. Also another very beatiful place is kavourotrypes near sarti. Though expect to have hundreds of others who have the same idea as you. Everywhere will be packed even free camping spots. Azapico is less busy but the sea has rocks .
