Lost & Found returns with his new full-length album 'Consumed'. Released for free in collaboration with the dynamic online publication Psymedia in order to break down the barriers for music to reach the listeners as efficiently as possible. Old music-delivery systems have become ineffective and obsolete, with negative consequences for both the artist and the listener. The way we consume music and information has changed forever. We are entering a new phase where chaos rules. There is no right or wrong.

While his last album 'Decoder' seeked cold perfection, 'Consumed' aims to capture the vibe as it was when it was being made in the studio. By directly providing the same audio files he uses in his live sets directly into the hands of the audience, a sense of connection and relief is restored in this age of information overload.

  3. As far as I know, they had to move to a new premises,,,they had to close down their distribution. All the stock of the cd's they printed had to either be claimed back by the labels or would have to be destroyed. This is why they had a clearance sale recently. So they probably just don't have the space anymore for all those cd's. They are hopefully just in the process of moving, business should be back to normal soon...

Decoder is the long awaited and highly anticipated debut album from South African producer Lost & Found. Several years in the making Lost& Found presents an album that is darker, more complex, more rythmicallly driven and intense than his previous works. His sound has continuously evolved during his career while always staying true tohis roots and has now been extended and refined.

Decoder bristles with a distinctive maximal energy, setting the barfor peaktime dancefloor madness. Masterfully produced, the album isunique in it's uncompromised creative freedom and innovation. Eachtrack utilizes found sounds and themes from his greatest life longinfluences that he compulsively lists in the accompanying artwork andcan almost be used as a tool to make sense of it all. Extensively roadtested and refined, every listen will reveal a layer not noticedbefore.

Unlike most psytrance albums today each of Decoder's 10 tracks form a seamless step by step descent beyond the infinite and back again. One must wonder whether the world will ever look the same again.

  5. Bizzarre levels of negativity going on here,,,

    Anyway,,

What would it hurt to just freakin vote? Judge the album after you hear it, and judge the music not the person

A new trance album from Hallucinogen would be a hell of a lot better than what's out there at the moment,,

    The idiots are winning..

    Vote!

    Whats the Tokoloshe ?

In Southern Africa, inhabitants have a real fear of a dwarf-like creature called the Tokoloshe. Some people won't even speak of it to keep this evil spirit from their homes.

It is often described as a horned malevolent dwarf that is half-man half-spirit. References to this mystical creature date back to before 1700. But he is also described to have many other forms like a cross between an evil zombie, poltergeist, a gremlin or animals.

The Tokoloshe as a “spirit being” can take many forms because many spirits only get given names when they are in our world and manifest.

While his appearance is unclear, his motives are not.

According to Zulu mythology, Tokoloshes are called upon by malevolent people to cause trouble for others. It is believed he was created from dead bodies of shamans or, on occasions, its simply choose to visit our world out of lust and a desire to cause mischief Only Witchdoctors (Sangoma) have the power to summon and banish a Tokoloshe.

Many people in Africa are still reluctant to discuss the Tokoloshe as many believe that even using his name will call him to you and naturally trouble will follow. In every new generation the belief in the “Other World” diminishes and fear of the Tokoloshe recedes but for many Africans today they have no doubt that he exists.

This creature causes native people in certain places to raise their beds on bricks about 3 feet above the ground so that the Tokoloshe cannot hide underneath and attack them and also. And you find this all over South Africa."

  7. He has the right to decide when and how his music gets released, it was uncool and unfair that someone released a shitty quality version of his album online. Now people are judging a lower quality version of the album instead of how it was intended to be heard.

Someone sent me a download link of the new Shpongle and I didnt download it because I'd much rather hear it properly.

Imagine you downloaded a prematurely leaked shit mp3 version of "Darkside of the moon" !!? It just wouldn't be right would it?

As for the samples on the Twisted site,,,,they sound totally off the hook to me, I can't see what the problem is. It's because everybody listens to music in such shit quality these days that they cant distinguish between good and bad music anymore.

Also, nobody allows music to grow on them anymore, they just scan through the mp3's a few times and then they say it sucks without it giving it a chance

  11. Label: Timecode Records

    Format: CD

    Catalogue: TCCD022

    Release Date: 03 November 2007

Timecode are back with one of their most off the wall releases so far. The compilation starts out with a huge atmospheric roller from Twisted System and then Concept & Scorb step things up with their dark grooved 'Dissident Factions'. Phyx's 'Kansas City Shuffle' gives you a bit of tech driven space before Multistate shifts up another gear with their massive HQ part II. From there it's a darker ride through Mantis' Blood Red and Xatrik's Wildcard, peaking with Lost and Founds tech driven 'Scanner V 2.0' and Outer Signal and B55's' Unstoppable'. At the end a little melody steps in with Multistate's RMX of Hydraglyph and Artifakt's 'The Pole'.
