For me, 20+ years later, only 3 tracks withstood the test of time: Elixir - E-Motion, Wizzy Noise - Twisted Love and Absolum - Goldfinger.
Wizzy Noise - Twisted Love & Absolum - Goldfinger are just good, tracks I like to hear again but nothing more.
However, Elixir - E-Motion is a masterpiece, one of the best psytrance tracks I ever heard. I still listen to it very regularly. It has a creativity and drive that are unmatched. One can actually hear the joy and fun there was while making the track. An unbelievable soundscape combined with this very sophisticated drive. I once heard it on a party back in the days, chock full of XTC, and it is one of the best memories I have of this period. Elixir knew what he was doing, what effect it has played full on. I knew it already through this compilation when I heard it on the party, I fell in love with it straight away and frankly I can not understand that other psytrance lovers don't hear this. I can not emphasise enough what a masterpiece this is.
