  1. Пиши по русски, как минимум я пойму :)

Yes, i fully agree with what you have written. I know that many psyheads hate melodies in the traditional sence (i.e. melodies following traditional harmonic rules, catchy and memorable) as bringing "cheese factor" into the music, and many producers avoid it. But for me personally the music really does it when great melodies meet strange, trippy sounds and deep sonic landscapes.  Not many artists manage or want to do that these days.

Ба, наши в городе! Откуда будем?)

Oh, I think I have to give some apologies about dark-goa - this terrible unmusical style was born in Russia, as I know. :)

Paul Eye, do you know some releases in this subjenre, which you can recommend to listen?

When I think about how dark-goa must look like, I imagine the stuff like "Perfect Stranger" of Sandman or, at the worst, MFG with their "Intelligent Machine".

I think that I'm a creature from another planet with other emotional spectrum, when I have to read some previews.

"Never boring", "Storytelling", "Complex and unique" about last longplay of Psysutra, for example...

Where??? Where did they found it all??

  2. Жаль, что я не могу писать по-русски. Много о чём хочется сказать.

It is sad that I can't write in Russian, there's much things I want to tell in this topic.

Any kind of music - it is music mainly (huh). I don't rate music only for its "traditional" sound of 90th (although I love it), and if the record doesn't contains the melodies (not "piu-piu" like the the most, but melodies), this record is a soap bubble in my opinion.

That's why I like Filteria, Artha, Infected Mushroom, Astral Projection, 1200, Pleiadiand, and that's why I don't like the rest of goa (especially released nowadays).

They all play the sound, not the music.

  3. Oh, I did it just because "Beyond Dulity" is far from "masterpiece" status, in spite of its virtues. There's much of amazing arrangements, complex melodies and interesting drum-parts in it (and that's what I'm looking for in all kinds of music, including goa), but there is also a few fragments, which I did not appreciate.

After all, 4/5 is not "only"...

  4. Artha is probably the best goa-artist living in our time.

A thousands of tracks, a hundreds of bands and albums were in my ears, but there was still really nothing like "Chaos" or "Bali", even approximately. I am happy about this release, and it simply MUST be awesome.
