  1. Even more funny, the track he REALLY likes is one of 3 that was made last few months... All the rest is pure 90s analog unreleased stuff as most know I guess :)

Ah well, my favourites are for sure Mariposa Remix, the Ladder, Maelstrom & Make Make :) Great pure analog acid madness :) They rip every dancefloor over and over again :) I loved their sound in the 90s, it was even one of my favourites so I was glad we could do this project! :) And I am more then happy about the result. :) I think lately it's clear we have a more various/versatile release-catalogue, more acid & crazy stuff between the more morning stuff... :)

    lol super smiley

  2. Yup, thats my view too. However now it is quite different than say still 15-20 yrs ago, when there was so much good stuff coming out and you were excited when some guy(s)

put out some noise. Thats not for psy alone but all the genres I listened too. Maybe ecxept Metal where is even much good newer stuff (why this genre is so much better

than most electronic ones I dont know tho).

As for reviews I wrote for some webzine for a while and also a printed zine 15 yr or so ago, mostly reviews sometimes interviews or concert reports. It was fun for a while and also

I thought it was kind of a mission to recommend and promote good music (or what I thought to be good, which mostly is). but it really gets annoying if

most of the promo you get sound generic and you are at a loss of words to describe i. So I quit that "hobby" But I would listen at least 3-4 times before forming an opinion

and writing something... and often ignore the label info sheets as they often were just hype. Some were spot on though (which got that label a bonus in my

    view).....

that's due to music equipment being available to everyone today. anybody can download a synth a put out any shit. back in days there was more value because musical equip would cost not anyone would be spending cash to put out some shit , you really had to be passionate about it . same applies today and that explains where the best music comes from.

  3. Aaahhhhhh what I found from my computer..I had forgotten about that I had this..ppl please listen to at least the track Ascendancy. It is really weird but these days I cannot stand good goa. I can stand only the best goa. So I listen to Filipe.

Thank you for appreciating my Music. You can also check the album of Kunai project if you seem to get into that style. :)

  4. This music brought a lot of positive and nostalgic feelings, reminding me on great era of Metapsychic Records. This will be probably one of my favorite release this year, since I adore this full-blown Goa trance chaos. It's melodic, spiritual, oriental, chaotic but not chessy. Wish there is better artwork for this release (I like the idea, it's totally in the style of Amitahaba Buddha). I will play this one on repeat many many times, thanks!

Also to add i've nothing to do with Metapsychic anymore since the label is ripped and well ripped. But I understand you as I explained before since I was the one that founded and created it.

I'm way happier conducting Submoon Records.

Enjoy the new release. All the best.

That's because I was the creator and founder of the label Metapsychic unlike of what all the unfortunate dramas and rumours were pointing and circling around in the past.

Artwork does the job , I'm respecting and following the classic Amithaba Buddha line.

    Thanks for your feedback.

Richpa here above nailed it. I already thought I had heard the best of Filipe but no. This is the best entity. The best track imo is 80 000 Pounds Of Crude from Hearts Of Goa. And Goa Gate Remastered is a good buy but this Angels Trumpets belongs to the group: cannot live without. There are less than 10 albums in that group and this is the first from Filipe getting added there. Waiting for the CDr.

Thank you Anu. The CDr is available now.

  6. !!!

After listening to your last EPs  , I have understand your restriction to play your music by DJ and on parties. You just care about peoples health, they can just go crazy, listening to your powerful kick&bass and screaming synths.

    :P

Your 3rd Amithaba album will be great! Good luck!

It's only the Music that matters to me nothing else. :) Thanks .

  7. You better stop lying about my mastering, and stop putting it down. The new version only has more treble, which puts hi-hats etc. in the foreground and melodies in the background.

Also it sounds like it was made from the old mastered tracks, not from the original unmastered ones.

1- You must think I'm stupid by bringing yourself here saying that I the artist mastered this album on top of your mediocre mastering? I'm sorry sir but you are completely wrong!

2-The new version sounds better which happens everything to be re-rendered from scratch as I own all the original work .

3- I didn't ask your opinion about the remastered version . I'm the artist I know how my Music sounds best not you.

    4-Enjoy the Music.

To everybody : please excuse and ignore digitoxins negativism .

The new album is out now.

Enjoy the new music and many positive vibrations to all of you.

Whilst some of it is related to age and proper psy-heads not getting in to that stuff, more so I think this is just that in the psy scene the good people are genunely good people who aren't inclined to spread hate.

When I saw GMS in 2013 they cleared half the dancefloor. Half stayed and absolutely loved it, half went to bed. There were a few particular moments where several people actually left in disgust (i.e. the Fat Boy slim remix).

A browse of the festival's facebook page the following week had post after post talking about how much they loved GMS. Or similarly "who was that guy at 4:30am on the main stage? That was awesome!" ... But over the last two days of that festival I spoke to many people who couldn't stand what they heard.

I had a similar experience at a small party in Portugal last year. I spent the summer going mostly from big party to big party and in late September saw a small party in Portugal with a varied lineup so I thought I'd experience a more authentic Portugese vibe than say, Boom or Freedom Festival while en route to Spain for Connection. A party with Scorb, Antispin, Dickster extended set, Kindzadza, Cosmo, Rocky, Ace Ventura, Sensient and a few others seemed hard to get wrong.

But the vibe was all wrong. A jaded crowd standing around rather than dancing, almost no decor, repeatedly letting the generator run out of fuel, and close to no food options. A real arrogant coca crowd, the total wrong vibe. It never really got going like it should have, the same party in many places would be dancefloor chaos.

A number of Portugese people were almost apologising to me, saying that they have much better small parties than that and it wasn't representative of their true local scene. Lots of people left early.

... But again, a trawl through their facebook page after the event showed nothing but happy people. The many disappointed people didn't invest energy venting online.

Yeap. I know and I understand the Portuguese scene has a lot to learn aswel. :)
