PAST
Deon started his career in music in 1994 when he was trained by 3
of South Africa’s best hip-hop DJ’s. From there he moved on to the
hard house and trance scene where he played in quite a number of
clubs in Cape Town South Africa.
He started producing music in 1996 and started the project "Damage"
with his partner and co-producer James (Broken Toy) around the
year 2000. They worked on this project for about a year before
they introduced it to the world.
Damage was a huge success from the word go and they signed up
with a South African label called "Timecode Records". They released
a number of trax on a few international compilations and did
many successful gigs.
One year later, a very well known international label called
"Shaffel Records" approached them. They signed a three-year
contract in which they have to release 3 albums.
PRESENT
Damage has currently become Deon's solo project. He's doing very
well in keeping the reputation where it should be...at the edge of
new style dance floor psy-trance.
With his hip hop, house, hard trance, hardcore and even metal
influences, Deon will keep on creating a style of trance which is rich
in colour, flavor and funk. One of the many reasons why damage is
doing so well at the moment.

LOCATION
» Imajica are pleased to announce that we have secured an exclusive site for the next 3 years at Camp Caringal, near Mt Baw Baw, east of Melbourne.
This agreement we believe, will work in everyone's favour. It means 3 parties per year, for the next 3 years, exclusive to Imaijca. This will hopefully prevent a repeat of the situation now facing other site's and will prevent pissing off the neighbours, preserve the natural habitat from being run down, and preserve the site for use by others in the future . See below for directions.
Gates will open from 8pm, the noisy stuff starts at 10pm. No early birds please!
Directions to IMAJICA from Melbourne:
Take the Princess Fwy out of Melbourne towards Morwell. Take the Moe exit (C103) and continue along Lloyd Street until you reach the end. Follow over the bridge and continue along Anzac St until the roundabout and turn left into Albert Street. Follow this until you reach the Moore Street roundabout and turn right. Continue along Moore Street until the end and turn left towards Walhalla. Follow Walhalla road for approx 27.5 kms and watch for the sign pointing left towards Camp Caringal. Follow approx 6kms until you reach the checkpoint.
Just in case, you can call 0401 003 513 for directions from 8pm on the evening of the party.
