That equipment is outdated. I'll be listening to these tracks on HD600 and HD650 later today (through a neutral DAC and headphone amplifier) and I'll post a summary of my findings.

Again you are talking absolute crap. I heart a lot of goa and onw a lot of goa and can distinguish even minor details. If Phreaky doesn´t sound similar to you, it is your view, but to me some tracks of him sound similar, especially paranormal Activity in the beginning. I think any further argumentation is pointless here because you are trying to show me how little I know based on your subjective opinion whether Phreaky sounds similar to LSD or not. in my opnion it doesn, in yours it doesn´t. In my opinion Astral projection - Unbelievable technology sounds like Fall and winter, just like in some other users´opinion, in yours it probably sounds like spring and summer.
That's why I said to clear your ears of wax. I also want to know what headphones or speakers you use which make Phreaky sound similar to LSD. I'm sure we can figure out where your problem is if you provide more information.

That's why i see goa music as a ludic way to invite people to explore other dimensions, breaking the pattern of the ego point of view.
People are free to imagine themselves as exploring other dimensions, but I can see no rational reason to believe that this isn't a pure fantasy on their part. Similarly, people are free to go to church and imagine themselves talking to God or they can pray in front of a temple and stick needles through their tongues to combat their "ego". The amount of delusions that have evolved in humanity is great -- and that's a beautiful thing, and life wouldn't be as rich or maybe even possible without them -- but you're just one more person representing one more delusion as though it's some kind of ultimate truth. I find that narrow-minded. I consider it more honest and intelligent in these modern times to admit that we don't know the truth or if there is one, and to be skeptical of everything, and to at least stay in disbelief for as long as possible. This is what separates the rare individuals from the mainstream: the mainstream (which includes you) are happy to believe the first delusions that they stumble across. I think you need to clear some wax from your ears, radi6404, if you think Phreaky sounds similar to LSD. Maybe you just haven't heard enough Goa Trance yet to hear the difference. Keep exploring... there are many good tracks beyond Hallucinogen and Astral Projection, although those two are the most popular and well known.

Almost no artist recreated the powerful, bright, springlike and energetic sound of LSD. the only tracks that in my opinion are really similar are Ayahuasca - New Moon, Phreaky - Paranormal Activity, Phreaky - Over the Moon....
Those tracks sound nothing like LSD to me.
On the contrary, there are many artists that created a "powerful, bright, springlike and energy sound". That describes half of the music called Goa Trance. Are they identical to LSD? Obviously not. They all have their own style. No track would be special if it wasn't unique.

I propose that we ban speakers, knives, and storms. Life would be so much more easy, comfortable, and boring without any of these horrible, cruel, unfair dangers that threaten to hurt our feelings at every turn.

"Unbelievable Technology" doesn't seem any more complex or layered than the others. The reason I don't like it is that it lacks a signature or unique sound... it doesn't stand out, it's boring, it's just a bunch of sounds that don't really convey any emotions or anything interesting. Among thousands of downtempo tracks, I have no reason to listen to "Unbelievable Technology" when there are so many better ones.

"Unbelievable Technology" is a mediocre/bad track. Nothing really special or stands out about it. And it's certainly not ambient music at all, just downtempo.
Their best downtempo tracks IMO are "Ambient Galaxy (Disco Valley Mix)", "Still Dreaming (Anything Can Happen)", "Ambience", and "Electronic".
