Hallucinating

Ahh killer, that answered my question perfectly. I figured arpeggiations were used, and I suppose arpeggiated chords too.

Okay, I'm not asking "how to make this melody", I wanna know how melodies like this one are structured and I can't seem to figure it out correctly http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SvQqrbAlKOA The melody comes in @ 4:32 I know it's a resonant saw with delay @ filter cutoff, but how are these notes arranged? Are these done using 1/16th notes, 1/32 notes? I know scales and stuff so that's not a problem, but also how would these look like in a scale would they be all strecthed out across an entire octave or grouped closely together? All help is appreciated
