    acid basslines in psy-trance today?

    Pretty cool tune, Martian Arts !

     

    I hate being "that guy" but maybe, if you're after acidy and/or distorted 303-ish sounding stuff, you could check some stuff I've been trying to make, I tend to add 303 lines whenever I can (I'm addicted :/), although in this case they're leads, not basslines, so that may not be what you're actually looking for. Still, acid :P

    Response for this project is better than I expected. In 12 days I recieved 24 tracks (around 3,5 hours in total lenght), and what makes me even more happy is that many of them sound good enough for this project, and fits perfectly into compilation concept and theme, so yeah, thanks to all who decided to participate so far and I look forward for the upcoming demos during the next couple of months.

    That's good news. I look forward to discovering new young oldschool GOA artists.

    Young German people seem to listen goa trance

    goa = progressive trance for most ppl <20. Especially here in Germany. Electro house (hyped couple of years ago) is almost gone, and has been replace by progressive trance (missed the "psychedelic" intentionally). So almost all young clubing folks know this genre, or better they think they know it - they talk about Tezla and Neelix while you talk about Filteria and Electric Univerese.

    Unfortunately that's true. The Suntrips Records 10 years anniversary in Hamburg was a highlight for me. Especially in NRW they often announce Goa & Psytrance but what you get is Progressive & Psytrance. And sometimes even mixed with Minimal!
