  2. I think someone on this forum has used imageshack for hosting the pics, and then linked them in here. I believe it's free, and you don't need to sign up/sign in to use it. Very good items for sale, they don't even need to be playing well, they worth their money just for display and historical purposes!!
  3. Great album indeed! Not very powerfull tracks, but really well made I think. MWNN is one of the masters in the studio, and can lift the dancefloors spirit easily, either in lives or Dj sets. But I love it when he plays his own stuff, slightly altered to fit the atmosphere. It's also fun watching him groove at his own music when he plays, hehe, I always loved that on e performer. I also think Earth Moving the Sun is his best on MWNN ever made, and it's also my first one of his. There is also a notisable trend on the designs of his album covers, involving those rounded edge rectangles stuck on each other. I don't know if they mean anything. Anyone with more info on that, I would be very interested to hear about it. Also the first track gave me one of my tripiest moments ever. As I clicked on my then freshly bought 56k modem to connect on the internet and it started doing those blicking souns like 'alien talk', the cd started playing and kept the alien talk going (that's how it starts). At first I thought the modem was dialing for longer than it should, or the wrong number, and kept on listening very concentrated to it, just to see i it's going to give any errors. It was the first time I was trying it out so I was waiting to see if it's going to work properly. And then suddently you hear the beats going off, and the amazing psychedelic melody building so naturally out of the alien talk, that made me think, wowww, what a magnificent modem device, it plays trance music, and right there I snapped out of it, returning to reallity, (on about the 3rd or 4th beat) as I knew it was no longer my modem but my CDplayer. It would be cool though if they would sell ADSL modems playing MWNN music when they are connected to the net!!!!
  4. Hi, I bought some old LPs a year ago, only because I couldn't get them on CD. Now I finally have all of them on CDs, so I can get rid of them (They would look impressive on my wall if I hanged them, but I have notheing to play them on). I am only assessing their quality on apearence, as I did not have a turntable to play them on. Payment methods: I can put them up on amazon and let you know where and when they are available at the agreed price by pm or email. I have used it plenty of times before, and find it to be a very secure method for both the buyer and the seller. Paypal is also an acceptable method, although I am not a very experienced user of it, just used it once or twice before as a seller. Other methods can be discussed if they sound secure enough. Please ask general questions in the thread, but final arrangements are with pm or email. I will try to keep an eye in the thread for the next few weeks, but if you want a faster response or if it's been a while, please email me, thank you!
  5. I am thining it would have to be something between Hallucinogen, space tribe and slide. Now have those three producing a track together and you will then have the most twisted psychedelic track ever..... Slide would provide the most wierd samples, space tribe the most trippy melodies and bassslines, and hallucinogen will tweak, filter and bind them all in the most unbearably sick and twisted way that (I am sorry but) you cannot ever imagine!!!! Will we be able to dance to it or will our minds stretch, bend and swirl under the unexpected swings in such a track, shattering to a million pieces at the peak of the track!
  6. A friend recomended this album to me. For a long time now I had given up hope of listening to any new releases like the goa oldies which marked my sould and made me a sworn psy trance dancers for the rest of my life. He said listen to this, it's oldskool goa stuff, really. But who believes such words, when all of the groups that were smashing your head against the walls with their melodies back then, managed to infect themselves with amnesia and forgot how to make good tunes. Well looks like some of my like mined people managed to acquire the skills and do what I've been dreaming for so many years (since 99). A few of the last posts were not really positive towards the album, understandably. Everyone has their own taste. Even classic albums like IFO, Simon's Twisted, MWNN earth moving the sun,MFG's prophesy, The astral files and the green nuns album were not equally apreciated by everyone. I usually like a lot of acid in tracks, like someone said, a bit like the old sosmosis stuff, but when the melodies get so well layered one above the other, it makes you feel like a JPG file, puting it in a funnyway, i.e. a " l o s s y " compression of your mind. Some people claimed that it is a 70 min single track CD. Yes you kind of get that feeling, but I think that's perfect. It's an instant energiser, you play any track, staring from anywhere within that track and you have instant lift of. I wish all music was like this. Imagine turning on the radio and listening to tunes like this on all stations, haha, I am laughing just at the thought of it. Pure noise for the ears of everyone else, a melodic paradise for my flying fantasy. I downloaded all the sampled tracks from his webpage, and palyed them all in a row, 1:30 hour of blessed epilepsy!!!!! On the other comment, that someone made earlier, that you cannot compare it to IFO, yes he was right, you don't usually compare a debut to a release carrying so much experience on it. But then again, where did all that experience suddently disspaear from etnica/pleiadians/crop circles? When I bought the FOL album I thought, oh great, another IFO album in my collection, the outcome was to listen to it once and get a really long dissapointed face on me. I never listened to it again for 3 years. Also if you expect to see an identity on each of the filteria tracks, you won't see it easily. I still don't really distinguish between the IFO tracks, I only know it's those fantastic tunes from that very old cracker album I once bought. And yes there is always space for improvement, and I think Yiannis is improving fast, but then again where was the improvement we all expected from etnica in their second album? I have two more messages to pass out through this post: 1. Everyone that used to make good goa trance like this and is now bored to death to do it again, they should know that these sounds are what won our hearts in the first place, and I don't mean only the pleiadians IFO style, but the music that was generally produced by each individual act during 95-98. I challenge them to take us apart once more with their skillful melodies and basslines like Filteria is doing now in their place. 2. Filteria, do what you do best mate, crash the dancefloor with your melodic menace, if people don't like it let them make their own stuff. I believe the dancefloors are really missing tunes like yours at the moment, so I say anihilate the groups that so much dissapointed us in the last few years. Hit them now that their weak, we will follow!!!!! I HAVE BEEN WAITING 7 YEARS FOR THIS MOMENT. Oh and by the way, stuff your unreleased tracks from your site in a few CDs and sell them please, you might not think they're good enough, but they're s**t on the face of Astral's last 2 albums (just to mention one example). P.S. Anyone that liked the tunes in ths album should check out some Swiss releases called "goa syndrome" by "cygnetic records", made back in 2000 or so. Mostly Imperial Project's stuff (aka Ken Da Lyud, hope I am spelling that correctly). He was promoting them as free mp3s once, but they are really good too justifying once more that good music is made by heart and not by desire for money. Give them a go, and if you cant find them any more, send me an email, I got as many as I could of the net, and order a few printed CDs too. Oh namo Natarajamo .... See you all on the dancefloor!
  7. been immersed into all kinds of Psytrance but i never enjoyed more than back then...RrhaaĆ¢ ! Am I nostalgic ? .................................... .............................................. This compilation is really a big psychedelic trip like none has been made for a long time now ! We hope you'll notice how original it is and appreciate the journey. - Definately not nostalgic there, anyone that has sampled the old stuff with his ears and soul has like a ghost cast away in a world of darkness waiting for the his transition to the next stage of enlightened psy trance. Yes all of us that tasted the sweet melody of 96-97 that siped into our minds presenting to us the thirst of eternal bliss arising from good goa trance music. After 98 nothing could really cut it for me either, I started gathering as many old CDs as possible, cause I thought I'd never listen to that music again. In 2003 to 2004 I found out I wasn't alone. I started meeting people at paarties, with exactly the same ideas, talking about old compilations, the one completing the others thoughts. Thanks guys for doing this big step for us all. Even though I first came into contact with the Transform releases trying to aproach the old skool style, and boris blenn slowly remembering his skills, yours just blew me off immediately, both the filteria, and the apsara compilations. They gave me the feeling of that SSTI1 compilation, maybe a bit of that old subcouds tune with some Elysium spirit thrown into them, and I think MFG did take part in the influence thing. Producing old style Goa trance while at the same time making use of new equipment and methods of composition is what everyone should be doing at the moment. I am still a bit confused on why they are not, I believe it's the natural evolution of our music, and definately holds it's future securely. Glad to hear you are going for a second filteria album, and the Khetzal album sounds promissing too. I believe you should go for an Apsara II while you're at it. I believe that if you do that and keep on with a release of a constant name and persisting on the exact same type of melodic old/new music, everyone will soon be calling the music "Apsara Trance" or something. If you haven't seen it yet, everyone likes it, and everyone is looking for a proper name to express it, somehow, old skool doesn't sound right, and goa or psy trance defines the whole scene. So strike fast and hard, you deserve it and we'll like it !!!! P.S. Keep me a copy of any future releases, can't wait for some good old/new stuff!
