No mean to offend, u've been brainwashed, i mean mac's are ok but are far from being a wonder, unless u already know how to use logic its fien otherwise u will get bored for the next couple of months., logic is awesome but not so easy and not so logic. Common man u have a virus, a good pc set up why exactly a mac???? mac have issues too, they are computers at the end of the day.Anyway its your choice good luck

Trilogy is awesome, the last 3 years ai tried vb-1,ABL,tau, tritium etc... believe me trilogy sounds phatt and crisp.I also sampled ESM and load the samples in kontakt and it`s more than i ll ever need.

256 tracks, pro tools uses rtas plug ins wich are not so common at least compared to vst, so again, avoid pro tools for music production.

Proo tools LE(m-box and digi002) offers only 32 audio tracks, so it´s not suitable for music production since an average trance track takes about 40-66 audio tracks. Pro tools is for audio recording unless u guy the HD version wich costs about 8000 dollars and u get moe audio tracks and acces to TDM plug ins. So asnwering your question, DP is more than enough, the latest version has some nice sinths.
