  1. Damn, if it wasn't released on TIP Records I'd trade my copy because I don't like it at all...

Besides, not so long ago it was easily available on Saikosounds so put it in your wantlist and chances are they'll have it in stock again and mail you. It happened before with Headlines EP, so it is possible. Don't know exactly why, but some of old TIP releases are still pretty much available (like Psychopod CDs, Top of The TIPs 2, TIP Singles, Orichalcum & The Deviant album etc.)

Sorry for not being much of a help :)

And why are these so rare:

    I.Exc 2

    Top of the Tips 1

    The Growly Family

    Ever wondered?

  2. Some ambient/minimal/Dub/Trip-Hop/ albums for trade with psychedelic trance CD's. Only trade, and only with psychedelic trance.

    Plastikman - Consumed

    Waiting your trade proposal :)

  3. Why are so many great, underrated goatrance albums not available now days??!

A good amount of people spend YEARS on and off searching for an available copy of something. I'm tired of seeing so many albums NOT available on world-known sources like Psyshop, Saikosounds, Amazon, Amazon.co.uk, and rarely popping up and for a reasonable price Ebay[/i].

It's annoyinig. It's tedious. There should be an easier way. A great goatrance album for instance is often an original, sometimes groundbreaking work of art. The fact that it wasn't mainstream makes it more desirable and wanted, especially if it's catchy, and they often are! Finding a copy shouldn't feel like a brainbuster to locate. If the label goes bankrupt the artists should change their approach, contact a distributer, online retailer as mentioned above, or sell copies via their site. Don't just quit and give up.

    MY MOST WANTED ALBUMS

    BIOT - SATURATION

BLUE PLANET CORP - BLUE PLANET ... I heard half of the album. Based on that this is superb, a goatrance classic.

DIMENSION 5's DEBUT ... I've put so much energy (hopes, prayer) out there for this to happen since 2001. Thank you Suntrip for this re-release.

    ETNICA - JUGGLING ALCHEMIST

GREEN NUNS OF THE REVOLUTION - ROCK BITCH MAFIA ... (Great album btw)

    SEMSIS - LETTING GO

    UX - ULTIMATE EXPERIENCE

SEMSIS - LETTING GO is not difficult to get - and isn't a great album in any case - but everyone has different opinions of course.

UX - ULTIMATE EXPERIENCE - imo a monster album which is FAR FROM DIFFICULT to get too!

ETNICA - JUGGLING ALCHEMIST is the most impossibile to get - on discogs there is one for sale @ €81-00 - quite fair price if you ask me. Imo this is even rarer than Transdimensional but is less sought.

  4. I've been searching for it too, for quite some time now.

Seems like it almost reached the rarity of D5 - Transdimensional in only

    a few years...

So maybe Suntrip re-releases it again in 6 years time as it should be doing with Transdimensional in May 07 :D

  5. OMG ... you're right! :o

I just test-listened to vol. 23 in the store and really, it has become all full-onish! Shit ... I didn't think they'd go this way ... the latest one I own is vol. 21 and that one is not full on ... a little bit maybe, but not much. At least in comparsion to the latest one.

    Shit.

Not really all that full-onissh (vol.23.) What differentiates vol. 23 from the previous volumes is that both sides are "balanced" in terms of "power". Whereas the others had one-full on-side and the other side is (mostly) progressive and mellower, Vol. 23 seems to have reduced the "full-onism" from disc 1 (I repeat: just reduced) and put that on disc 2 since disc 2 here isn't mellow as the previous editions.

This series comes in fantastic artwork BTW.

  6. no, no ... this statement is actually not really true, but the point is, you have to listen to the stuff long enough. Trust me! I "listened myself" the volume 13 to the absolute holy grail of psy/goa music, litterarily  ! Every track a masterpiece! I was listening to this piece for like 6 months - only that one of course ... had no money for another one, it was freakin' expensive to me. And now it's the best Goa CD out there for me. And I believe any of the Goa Head compilations has that potential! Yes, I firmly believe it! That's why I am such a great fan (and because the newest ones are really quite good, not after 6 months of listening :D )...

<(but who does nowadays want to do that "listening oneself the record good" - either good on first listen or not good, I understand you people, I'm now like that as well :) )>

The latest instalments have some tracks which can be called progressive house (sadly) Disc 1 is full-on, most of disc 2 is much mellower.
