  1. This is not as good as tandu or pigs in space anyway there are really great tracks here and he managed to maintain the groove and thickness of pigs in space.

I adore his style, so thick, trippy and powerfull...what i like in goa is the trippyness and serious melodies that can be made...that feeling that something really important is about to happen  and ofer can achieve that perfectly, in this album maximizer is the example. After etnica/pleiadians, Dimension 5 and astral projection, ofer dikovsky is one of the best in the genre.

    Highlights:

    Maximizer

    Cream

    Uplifter

    Delirious

  2. I cant get tired to say this is the most wonderful album in the Goa trance genre.

All tracks are filled with warm cosmic vibes, oriental melodies together with spacey sounds that generates high psychedelia.

Many artists fail to create complete melodies because of fear of making it too cheesy and then the result is just ambiental melodies without buildings or climaxes, Dimension 5 didnt failed and made some of the most powerfull melodies in the genre.

This album is like a trip through outerspace always with the warm vibes of some bright star...i still remeber the day i heard this for the first time, from the alien main melody of Antidote to the hypnotic synth of Harmonic convergence i was shocked i coudnt believe it was possible to make such a magnificent music.I will always be thankfull to this 4 english men.

I also think its necessary to say they created a subgenre in goa trance, space goa trance, unfortunately noone could at least mimic this style, this proves the brilhiance of this album.

For me all tracks are favourites anyway there are 2 that stand out for me, deep space 5D and Harmonic convergence.I think i already heard more than 500 times Deep space 5D and i dont get tired of it :)

  3. V.T.O.L.- Vertical Take-Off and Landing? is one of the most deep goa i know of, brilliant track...pyramid and elektron bender are also very good tracks but the rest of it is average goa, taking this into consideration this was somewhat dissapointing for me, it could have been a classic.

  4. :drama:

No u r not the only one.... I didn't see the whole live-show but the fact that they choose to showcase that one track on youtube is a bad sign! It very boring imo, not mtv stuff though :P !

Its not mtv but is very close

Psytrance is getting a lot of diversity...first infected with hiphop psychedelic trance now is simon dumbford with romantic pop psychedelic trance wow

  5. My sophisticated linguistical capabilities regularly surpass and becloud anyone's judgment and/or perception of physical reality. Just like Simon Posford's music. My vocabulary stings in the steepest parts of the human cerebrum, eclipsing the chasms of the fourth dimension, where crooked shadows eternally rest in an altered frame of mind.

    :drama:

I did not agree or disagree with you or anybody else. I just wrote a post. But hey- you should nevargh take me seriously, it's not worth your time! :)

    :clapping:

  6. This is it. THE post. I was actually studying morphology and its application to modern linguistics, for my exam tomorrow, and then I decided to make coffe and see what's up here. And what do I see? The official "fuck tha fuck off mr. Posford" reply! If I was one of those dudes who have other people's quotes as sigs, this would be mine. Not because I hate Simon's music, quite on the contrary, I'm madly in love with it. Moreso, because of this reply I am most likely to flunk my exam tomorrow... Why? I just gotta put on "Twisted" and "The lone deranger" and search for all that lack of powerful energy and boring melodies!

Anyways Simon, we made your face cave in with a sledgehammer!

Your writting is so strange i cant even understand if your criticising me or agreeing with me maybe your confusing this forum with a modern linguistic exame?

Anyway thanks if your agreeing with me, and if your criticising, go fuck yourself with some modern linguistic book while listening to twisted :P:lol::lol:

  7. I love his style...specially the acid sharp sounds!

The remix of Tzump-In is wicked i absolutelly adore the melody its from the movie eyes wide shut with tom cruise, in the part when they do the ritual right before the orgy  ...notice the name of the next track- cruise wide open

  8. LSD (his track) is not that good, really.

I agree and i must add that twisted and lone deranger are only good goatrance albuns obviously compared to masterpieces like transdimensional or I.F.O. they are just average albuns, no great melodies there at least all the times i end listening to twisted for example i cant remeber any melody from the album the same doesnt happens with I.F.O. or transdimensional.Another thing that i noticed is that it has no melodic climaxes, its only dreamy trance and i find it very boring, for me goatrance is made of melodies always on the edge...im listening to alpha centauri now and jesus this is so boring. His music has no pwerfull energy, if i listened to it on a party i would fall asleep :wank:

  9. R.O.M. was also the only track i found very good on this album but with the beginning of the summer i started to listening to it and now it sounds perfect, all tracks are dreamy and warm especially Astral flight...just listen it in a warm and sunny day very loud and you will get overwhelmed by the perfection of the track, so simple and yet so powerfull :posford:

  10. that comes from the sales bullshit, dude, surely you don't believe everything you read in that? if everything written about every new release was true then every single cd released is the next genre busting, innovative, big thing.

i've listened to this twice now, and they may think they have all those influences mixed in (and maybe they do!), but to me the sum of all the parts just sounds like good, old fashioned psytrance. if any of those influences stood out more than the old school touches, they would have put me off and i wouldn't have enjoyed it so much.

I only read that after u said u didnt find any electro influences on it :lol:

Ok, every one has is opinion and in my opinion it has some electro/fullon feeling that i dont like much :)

  11. have you heard the full release yet? maybe it's just me, but i can't hear any "electro" and there's plenty of old school melody in almost every track :)

as the trio explore themes of electro, disco, house and progression all within the boundaries of modern psychedelic trance....
