wow what a great news !
I was wondering not long ago what happened with these two guys. (i talked about it in another topic..) I think MFG is one of the best groups... ever !
Their music was so intelligent, worked a lot.. evolved..

A little while ago i heard some silent horror.. I don't know where it comes from and i don't know if he got an album released, it was an unreleased burned version my friend downloaded from somewhere.. Anyway it was pretty good !!

No like i said in my first post in this topic, i'm not looking for commercial Trance.
I'm not saying i don't like popular trance, i love it (i don't like digweed though, but i really like stuff like Kai tracid, Nu-Nrg, blank and jones, Tiesto (not all his stuff, only the melodic stuff), rank 1, and many more...) but i'm looking for something else right now..
Actually i think commercial trance doesn't evolve anymore.. It has been on a plateau for a while now.. There was so much good stuff before (2 years ago and before) and now i feel like there's a lack of creativity, they don't know what to do anymore.. Every good tracks released sound the same but few rare ones..
I don't know what's gonna happen with it.. Or it's gonna stay on that boring plateau for too long and gonna be assimilated by house/clubish techno, or it's gonna have to change, find new ways, new doors..
Good thing even though the 10000 full-on albums released lastly that sounds all the same i think psytrance has still PLENTY of energy and space to conquer !!

It fits really good in what i'm looking for !
Really super melodic, but not leaning towards commercial trance, and still psytrance.. At first when i listened to it i thought it sounded too commercial, but after hearing it more, it has a lot of psytrance elements.. not all their tracks though, but the good ones are just awesome; because they mix together the power of the psytrance trance experience with the deepness of melodic stuff..

ah ok.. I didn't know some people actually called that kind "nitzhonot" ..
We don't call it like that around here. Eyal Barkan and Cyan we call that much more "trance" than psytrance or even less "nitzhonot" .. I listened to shiva shidapu, a friend of mine had the album, it's pretty good yeah, but faster like somebody said.. I like it.. Not what i prefer but i liked it.. However Eyal Barkan and Shiva Shidapu are very different trend of music..
It's weird sometimes how definitions of different kind of music can differ so much in different parts of the world..
For example if you just take the word: "Trance".. Trance in Israel is what we call around here north America Psytrance.. What we call Trance is actually popular trance.. Eyal Barkan and Yahel bend a little on that side..

anyway to come back to ultra-melodic psytrance, i really appreciate your suggestions ! Most of em i know already because i'm a huge melodic fan and i already did a lot of research on that, but i'm really really happy to discover the ones i don't know !!

They made some awesome melodic music !! ok ok it's not really the kind of melodic i was looking for in that topic, it sounds more like Astral, but even that, we can't forget MFG ! I see their name very few times in melodic topics and that's bad, they were awesome !!

yeah that's right i heard a few songs from eyal barkan with Yahel but i didn't know he made an album by himself ! That would definately be good !

I never heard that term before and i'd even less think it's a kind of trance !!!
I'll inform myself a little more on that style and i'll listen to some, i might like it. or not.. ! thanks anyway ! I love to discover new music.. Especially with all that crap full-on released 10000 times a year, i'm really thirsty for anything new and original, and even better on top of that Melodic !!

It actually sounds like good old Trance before Popular Trance and Psytrance were two distinct styles.. I really like old Trance sound..

This weekend I saw Infected Mushroom and Silent Sphere live and it was overwhelming!! First was Silent Sphere, they are much better live than on their album (and I like their album). Much more twisted and full-on (but in a positive way). People enjoyed it a lot and I was dancing like crazy. Then came Infected Mushroom and the whole crowd went nuts. They played mostly new tracks which was a bit a disappointment for me (but I knew it before because somebody told me) but it was still a great experience. I like their new album and the tracks also sounded good live, I'd immediately go to a party again to see them.

I searched through the site though and i didn't really find anything like what i'm looking for..
I'm looking for some ultra-melodic stuff, but not the same melodic as Astral or Ypsilon5 (redundant example, ypsilon5 sounds almost exactly like Astral!!) or misted muppets or blue vortex.. It's kind of hard to explain, that's why i call it "rare"..
I'm looking for music on the limit of the psytrance, but not leaning towards popular melodic trance (like Tiesto, kai tracid, oakenfold, nu-nrg, blank and jones etc etc) .. In other words some really pur melodic sounds with a faint of psy, just enough so you can call it psytrance.. It has to throw you in another world like psytrance does, but in a emotionnal psy-world.. !! It doesn't really matters how fast it is, or how old, or what "sub-style" it is..
i know, i know, it's hard to figure out what i'm talking about !! It's hard to explain and my first langage isn't english so that doesn't help !!
Here are some tracks similar to what i'm looking for:

(the whole uni: la movin' album is right in my tastes, but these 2 tracks are more like what i'm talking about right now)

(the whole lani album "our way to the sun is pretty close from what i'm talking about, but not as close as Uni "biblove", not as original..)

Synsun: "Zygote" (symphonic adventures is a brilliant album!)

Old sets from Chris Liberator are just killers !!
More recently though it's very different.. I think they still call it acid; Acid has changed a lot since the good years of 303.. nowadays acid is more a kind of sub-hard-tek ...
I've heard some really good acid-trance in 2002, it was called Miss Innocent..
I saw her live and it was one of the best set i ever heard !!
I think she's more into techno now, like most of the old school acid artists...

It's been a while since Combustion in 2002, by that time Dark Nebula, Psykovsky, kindzadza and more released some really good dark, but i feel i'm gonna be listening Dark Soho again pretty soon !!

I unfortunately haven't had a chance to live much live acts in the part of the world i live, but psysex was pretty amazing !!
I have no doubt 1200mics put on an amazing show ! I'd love to see them !
The juno live act seems pretty amazing too but i don't think he does that anymore though..
I saw Dino Psaras a while ago and it was amazing, but not live act though.. Semi live-act i believe ...
