Electronic Dope Records (EDR) Online! Electronic Dope Records is a open minded Psytrance, Freestyle(Psy) & Fullon label. It was officaly founded march 2006, but the first ideas and work on the Label started already in 2003. The Label is located in Germany - Munich and is managed by Lorenz & Rene Nenntwich and their friends Danijel Galir (sales), Raphael Schuman (p&r) and Phillip Cepetic (bookings). The foundation itself was only possible through a lot of help by families and friends. EDR is specially focusing on inovative & qualitative releases and the styles reach from electronic freestyle music over progressive fullon to melodic cybertrance. The label was originally founded for some of our young artists & producers, in order to get them out of commercial traps & mainstream rules. So they got the chance to reach a real point of their visions, wich they can reflect in their music. The results of their work are inovative creations like the freestyle project Psyknights, Full on projects like Kaos or Cybertrance Acts like Psyborgs and many different styles from the Artists of our Label. EDR will always follow this way of creativity and there are already more projects planed that will follow soon. I want to introduce all of u to Psyborgs, one of our projects here in germany. we will realease our first tracks in the next time and have played already live and one of us makes also djsets pls checkout the official psyborgs webpage for details, tracks (demos & fullversions), booking, and much more... Psyborgs Biography - 2005 Edition Psyborgs are Lorenz Nenntwich (Mind D.) and Raphael Schumann (Psyra). Mind D. (born in 1984) began to make music at the age of 9 years in kind of a family bandroom. First he played the guitar for some time (about 1/2 to 1 year), but he stopped soonly afterwards, and played the drums for another 1 1/2 years after that... The bandroom was closed later, but Mind D. started sound producing on his own (aged 10 years), using an old tracker program called "OctaMED". He experimented a lot with this stuff, and tried out many different styles (electronic, techno, and d&b in general), before he had his first contact with Psy music. Today Mind D. already produced many tracks, started a lot of projects with many different musicans, and already worked with most of the well known music gear. He gained a lot of experience, and also taught himself engineering and mastering in this range of time. Psyra (born in 1982) began to make music aged 14 years, together with Mind D. So he also has all the necessary knowledge about music production & sound engineering, and knows how to use it, as well as Mind D. But other than him, Psyra focused more on the dancefloor and DJing, as on song writing & engineering. He already played on a lot of different partys with many well known DJs & arists (like Analog Pussy, Domi Pastor, Morlack, Styx, Akira Indika, Babla, ...). So he knows very well what the people like, and what fits best into the dancefloor... Psyra and Mind D. already met in school (1996), and since that time they are best friends and work together. After a few experiments, both were sure that they wanted to do more stuff together, become professionals, and create something new. So they decided to produce more tracks, and to go on with that. They've met many people, produced a lot with friends and other artists, and tried to start a couple of projects (Psycrew, Psychotronic Artists, ...).They all lasted for some time, and both Psyborgs gained all the necessary experience to follow one target, and finally they developed the "borgish style". In this time they also produced the "2003" underground album, and experimented a lot with other musicians, as well as other music styles (like the "Psyknights" and the "Knights & Borgs" projects). The Psyborgs project itself began in 2003 in Germany. They met Wairua, and started the Psyborgs project together with him (in 2005 Wairua left the Psyborgs). In 2004, the Psyborgs were very successful with their creations (e.g. "Timetwister", "Peaks Speaks", "Dream Processor", "E.D.P.D.", "Frog Machine RMX", ...), and proved that they already can match with the actual top Psy-Trance acts worldwide. ... to be continued. ...verysoon www.psyborgs.com
