    The 1st track is psy-electro and I shouldn't worry that it sounds like it was 16-bit. I am presuming you listened to it on CD? Also, Siu Nim Tao I think means small Idea in cantonese which is quite clever given that it is probably very minimal.

    I don't really understand the hype, I had this with my last Saikosounds order and was greatly dissapointed, only track 7 (the Alpha track) was very good imo, old schoolish melodic tribal trance, the rest sounds not good enough, often the samples annoy me like hell, or drums do not really fit imo and the melodies are way too simple... it reminds me on old juno reactor, I never liked their music either so it's a matter of taste I guess. 5/10 because it is original these days but still... If anyone wants to have this cd, let me know, I'm sure this can be lots of people's taste! :)

    hey oopie nice one ! this artist is very talented , awesome melodies , some modern influences , awesome arpegioos , remembers me manmademan-drama , great songs 10/10. This guy should be released in fact with the quality he got... totally awesome , worth the download!

    I heard the Boom fest story from Quasar himself - he said some idiot ran up to the stage near the beginning of his set and said he 'wanted to play a little' - i guess he was able to tweak some stuff in the controller before the security got to him, and it fucked up Quasar's soundcard - he played a live set in the US the following weekend and he had to borrow Mubali's soundcard because his was constantly clipping.

     

    back on topic - i think it's a very nice album, it's not 'dark psy', it's more twisted fast psychedelia. honestly i prefer his other alter ego (with Dylalien) - The Fractal Cowboys, their live set is just fucking unbelievable. album should be coming soon...
