Ale, i'm from brazil and since december 2004 there is a movement here that says the same thing u do and they label commercial music as "chacota". I really think it's sad ! When i think about this i turn on my stereo and listen to musics such as Dancing with Kadafi that makes me remember the good times of Psy Trance! I decided since december to go only on festivals because on festivals there are no commercial music, at least here in Brazil or there are few djs that play commercial ones because they know that people who go to festivals such as Trancendence want to remember the good times of psy trance and don't want to listen crap songs made by brand new bands from israel that make a music in a day only to sell.
