When I was using reason I used samples for my basslines. I didn't get the bass I wanted from the synths there. For other genres you can get some pretty wicked bass intruments though
It'd be great if prop.heads released the subtractor as VST ... I love that one. Yeah I know I can rewire, but I can't be arsed.

Good review Basilisk, and thanks for the kind words

When working on one computer with no hardware, it's tough enough. But if you hook up some hardware it's a different story. Seems like most co-op tracks these days are not made by people who are in the same room, but they are made by people who make different parts of the track over the net.

Why isn't super greg on #1?
(if you don't know him, ask google.)

"..ohh every1 is so scared.."
That kinda sums it up.

I vote for the offtopic section. There's a lot of non-sense going on here. "More money = better sound" for instance. Often, when you buy something really expensive you pay for design and brand name, not sound. It's always fun to see smegheads buy cables for their speakers that cost 150€ pr. meter....

I think they are quite unique, and I know a lot of other people think so aswell. They're not just pounding on with beats and squeeky lfo madness, these guys have got style. Of course it's a matter of taste ... But their music does sound perfect at parties in the scandie-forest. My favorite Derango track : Hole in the Ground (VA - ctrl-alt-delete, stoneage records)

It will also include a poster of Raja Ram, doing what he does best; jumping in his boxer.

Proabably some DNS problems. Try changing DNS server perhaps?

The remixes, the cheesy take-off kinda style and guitars. These are often combined in tracks.

Finally, someone who has the same opinion as me. I'm sick of talk about female djs just because they are pretty/good looking/fuckable/whatever. Sure, cute girls are very nice, but if the dj can't play, well ...
Good luck to all female djs though, and male djs. I don't care what sex you are, just your skills.
I wonder if female psytrance fans have got their own secret forums where they post pictures of male artists/djs and rate them?

That's a good point, the groupies. May all killar artists/djs get groupies!

Wow, is this for real?

Gotta love that kind of promotion

Anyone have experience with ordering from Wirikuta?
Basically, I've noticed that Wirikuta usually get most darkpsy albums 1 day before the other shops. And I guess that what I want to know is - would I get Tumult faster if I order directly from Wirikuta, or should I wait 1 day to go for Psyshop?
I think the reason why they get some "darkpsy" rekkids before everyone else, is that they often are doing the distribution.

Early Shpongle vs. Shulman?

And then there's us, on the "other side". A cd in Norway costs around 20 - 25 € in normal shops and people accept that. "Luckily" there hardly any electronic music there, so I must order online for a much better price
But as an artist, living in Norway and making psy is not very rewarding economically. The amount of money you got for a track on a compilation is the same amount of money you get for working the cashregister at your local supermarket on a saturday.
