A video/demo of the song Irschtas vs. 1in10 - Cheddar (RMX) has been uploaded to the following address:
http://www.irschtas.com/videos/mfx-deities.mpg
Artwork/graphics was produced by the group MFX for the Breakpoint 2006 demo competition in Germany. The video won the "Best PC Demo" award with a stunning 951 points. You can download the fully executable version from: ftp://ftp.untergrund.net/breakpoint/2006/..._deit_final.zip (this is also recommended for the full audiovisual experience).
Cheeeeck check check check it oooout!!!

Intriga's track "Try" has been put back on the compilation. All misunderstandings have been cleared. DOWNLOAD DOWNLOAD DOWNLOAD!!!
-
YES! My great website found at: http://www.irschtas.com
-
The compilation is now also available here. The server is 1gb out 1gb in, so the bandwith should be good enough for your downloading pleasure
Intriga's track was taken off the compilation, due to a situation with the copyright. It will possibly be added later. All other tracks are there.
BIG BOM to Dj Vainoharha (Discothèque du Lizard) for taking care of the hosting. Fucking ay' bro'!!!
All comments on all tracks are very welcome, and a review on the reviewing section would just knock me off my chair. *wink*

My first post since a long time here
Go for the M-Audio, forget about the SoundBlaster shait. I have that M-Audio card and it's been working great here .

Tau 2 is nice, but it must be sampled... The wave isn't stable, which makes it interfere with the kick low frequencies. Sad... but true.
Your two best FREE (see the topic people?!?) baseline vst's would probably be VB1 (and if you can find it, the new version) and Tritium baseline. both really simple synths with stable nice low end.
-
wicked track dude. you're getting better
two things though;
1) this is waaaaaay over-compressed. it's really really distorted.
2) the baseline is IMO not good. it's rolling, but it's not tight. it's just rolling. try something else than the audiorealism thingie. explore other synths for baselines.
keep up the good work!
let's try to finnish that track we started at some point.

Nooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! This would be my worst nightmare....the new dark soho is so boring.....
If it can reassure you, here a quote from the xenomorph website:
--------------------------
.Xenomorph is working on the 3rd Xenomorph album for which 5 tracks are
already made. It will be darker than ever and still have very emotional moments.
--------------------------
OW YEAH, we're not doomed....
Nervgaz
shouldn't "doomed" actually be the objective here?

hahaaa, I win! I was happy when I discovered that little piece of equipment
-
and since I'm such a swell fellow, I even dug up the link for you.
it looks silly, but I've gotten some very good results with it.
-
you should search for "Advanced Midi Gater". it's freeware and triggered by midi-notes fed to it, that way you are in control of how long the actual gating is (funky 1/32 notes can thus easily also be added). it has an envelope and a filter also.

Yo
very nice track indeed... nice morning atmosphere, still not being too cheesy. The lead starting at 1.48 is perhaps a bit too strong. Either some eq or volume adjusting would be appropriate.
Pleeease let us hear the whole thing once it's done !
böm.

You should check out Albino, z3ta, Imposcar and Discovery DSP to start with. Those are all capable of delivering some very freaky sounds
-
Mostly from my computer on these;
need I say more?
-
how about using samples from Bad Taste, will that get me into trouble?
