Pure Pressure - Pressurized (NUTEK 2010)
RELEASE NOTES:
Yohei Matsuzaki, the artist behind the project PURE PRESSURE. He was born in 1979 in Chiba, Japan. After coming across his first psychedelic experience in Budapest Hungary in 2001, he moved to San Francisco California and started producing his own blend of full on morning psytrance. He has played in countless parties in Japan and USA including the famous burning man festival. His first release was with San Fransisco based label Vaporvent, a collaboration with Mekkanikka called Wherehouse Memories. Since then he has continued to develop his own distinct style. In 2004, he moved back to Japan where he started his live project as PURE PRESSURE and became active in the Japanese Psy-trance scene. Around 2005 he worked with a major Japanese record labels and released a joint album called Ga Shin Shou Tan with Theoreme from King Records in 2007, plus another compilation album called Killer Trance (which he worked as director for this project) on Dreamusic Japan in 2008. In the end of that year, Yohei joined Nutek Records and left for a European tour . There, he has numerous collaborations with CPU, Painkiller, Mekkanikka, MadMaxx, XSI, Madnetic. In 2009, the release of his first track wtih Painkiller from Nutek Records, and anoher collaboration track (Spread Your Wings remix) with DJ Rew from Farm Records in Japan was a global success. Late 2009, he started toget ready and concentrated on his 1st album, and in 2010 he finally came up with his debut album called PRESSURIZED. The groovy energy of his music can be described as a synthesis of two opposing forces- organic, crystal clear synth lines combined with the mechanical, tech-inspired kick, bass and drums. When the music starts and these forces weave into each other, the result is PURE PRESSURE. Look out for his sets at upcoming festivals and parties near you!

Gunslinger is the new sound of alternative dance. With roots as a singer/songwriter and rock band front man, Gunslinger pairs past with present, blending classic song structure and vocals with years of professional electro and trance experience to create one of the most natural and creative sounds of any genre.
Gunslinger fires from an arsenal of varied influences and medium, with songs that electrify any venue, from dance floor to home stereo.
Gunslinger has opened for some of the biggest names in dance including Tiesto and Paul Van Dyk.
Signing with Coast ll Coast in '07 he started touring with Infected Mushroom.

RELEASE NOTES:
PUNCHLINE is a young Duo created by Nisan Alva & Ido Segal. They both come from a Kibbuts called Sha`ar Ha`amakim, in the northern part of Israel.
The Duo started working together in 2001 and only a few years later they went by the name of PUNCHLINE.
Ido started playing drums at very young age, and soon after he discovered the world of electronic music and started programming by using software such as Fruity Loops, Orion and more…
At the age of 15 years old he got more involved in sound designing, music theory and production, studying in a music college in Israel. Nisan started to play guitar at the age of 11 and few years later began to study music production in high school.
He discovered electronic music, started playing as a DJ and after a few years he found himself sharing the same dream than his best mate Ido, Writing and producing electronic music.
PUNCHLINE were “discovered” by Yonatan Markov a.k.a Bliss in 2005 and 2 years later they released their first track "Slik" featuring Bliss, on "Flamenco Mania" compilation - NUTEK recordes. Since then Punchline Collaborated with Bliss, Painkiller, Bio Genesis and more…
This duo is inspired from the electronic music of the early 90's, the nature surrounding their home, and everything out of the ordinary.
Now the guys are ready more than ever to give us all what we have been waiting for, their debut album "OTHER UNIVERSE", which has been a work in progress for a long time. Their style is highly energetic and contains Goa influences alongside a very NUTEK feel to it presenting a perfect mixture of full on, Psy trance, breaks and old school elements, each track cuts deeper in to the dance floor through the mazes in your mind. All this and more guarantees to make these two a house hold name with every trance and music lover around.

3 years ago, when all seemed over and trance has been reduced to a limited and duplicated music style, when people lost their lust for music and the beats and tricks ruled the dance floors with repetitive sounds that seem to never change, a beacon of light came from Israel channeled through these two merchants of psychedelic alternate realities, LOUD.
Eitan Reiter and Kobi Toledano make the group LOUD, they bear the motivation, out of reverence and respect to those who have entered along the years, the pantheon of electronic music.
They chose to invest their whole being into creating timeless pieces of music that carry you to the land of imagination, blending the best of what old school GOA/PSY TRANCE lovers crave while utilizing cutting edge production skills and fresh new sounds and techniques that aim to make you move your body not only in sync with the music but puts you in tune with yourself.
Free from conceptual thoughts, is Loud's newest installment, it is the 3rd studio album from LOUD, following "Some kind of creativity" and "Abstract", a double CD compilation release ("Private Lesson"), and handful of singles released through top international labels such as: Drive, Com.Pact, Noya, Hommega, to name a few.
LOUD have remixed acts like Sub6, Psysex, Etnica, Xerox & Illumination and have been remixed by acts like Perfect Stranger, Bliss, Earthling, X-Noize and more . . .
Free from conceptual thoughts, is a double sided project, one side(CD1) featuring tracks of the nonfigurative nature which make you slip into your own subconscious, toppled with a party kicker b-side album containing versions of LOUD by LOUD with a more dance floor orientation and is mixed live for your ultimate pleasure.
This album is the apex of these two innovative producers, bringing us the spirit of the early days of trance and matches it with unseen abilities and a flavor for precision, all melted into pieces of music that evoke the mind and create an infinite amount of interpretations to the music that normally tends to rely on the beat to do the job.
LOUD have composed a full bodied double CD release including bass lines that brake the regular molds and patterns, showing that that there are endless possibilities in trance music, and that music should be ever changing and evolving, providing us with food to the mind as well as the body.

RELEASE NOTES:
Nicholas Oesch aka Nikka is the musical creator of the psytrance project Mekkanikka. Born in Switzerland, Nikka has been driven by music his whole life. Eventually, he was led to California where he recorded local bands and began his career in audio production. After releasing his first albums on Germany's legendary Spirit Zone label, Mekkanikka received lots of positive attention from international dancefloors and has since had many releases on compilations all over the world, such as Phantasm, 3D Vision, Nutek, Neurobiotic, Mind control and Turbo Trance among others.
After the success of his release "Micro Revolution" on Nutek Records, Nikka is back with a brand new album of floorfillers called "2046", to be released on Phantasm in February 2010. This new opus will take you on a journey of warm, round sounds, psychedelic tales, candy wrapped in a plastic landscape of melodies and music. With tracks ranging from 143-145 bpm, super phat basslines, sharp editingdramatic dynamics, extreme grooves that combinereal instruments and complex sound design, Mekkanikka is delivering an incredible balanced work betwen musicality, creativity and production.
"2046" is best served chilled in the early morning hours, after a night of full power action.
