Specymen is the french psychedelic trance project from Gregory Antonovich, born in 1972 in Paris. In 1991, he went to his first rave party in Paris and discovered a music that would change his life. A totally new experience, but yet very familiar: an undescriptible feeling. In 1994 he started to buy vinyl records, always looking for a psychedelic feeling in music. He started to learn mixing and played at some parties, until somebody gave him a Roland alpha juno-2 keyboard. Thus, in 2001, he decided to buy some electronic music gears (atari 1040st, sampler, expander) and started to go deeper in sound. Designed to dance, each track is a journey into multiple soundscapes. A mix of light and shadow, blend of his own style and influences: something new, but yet very familiar. In 2011, Specymen has joined the Trance Lab Records family and release his first ep “Ad Infinitum”. Alexandre Cortez aka Ashnaia was born in Switzerland in 1983 and live in Portugal for many years where he met very good psytrance artists like Mindmanipulation, Audialize/Kompulse, Suria and more. Even back then he was very much connected to music since he comes from a family of talented musicians. Very soon he started to develope his own talent by the use of his dad's computer. Despite the technological slowness of his machines, he was able to learn most of the fundamentals. A few years on in 1999 he was old enough to start following other artists and he start going to parties and spending time in studios. Soon he learned the Portuguese way psytrance is made and it has just taken on from there. He has a very strong sense of melody and harmony and his music is therefore capable of taking us back in time and help us remember how the music was also cool back then. Alex now resides in Ibiza, where his contact with the scene there has refined his music and transported it into actuality with new synths and wicked basslines in a Downtempo mood. It looks like his talent will very soon be pushed into the light! Watch him closely. Skyloops is the psychedelic trance project of Sebastian Strazza and Mariana Zarankin. They are both musicians since the age of 14 years old, they meet each other at beginning of 2000 and since then where involve in differents projects. At the end of 2004 Sebastian starts djing playing with artists like Sesto Sento, Alternative Control, Zen Mechanics, Altom, Cycle Sphere, Ferbi Boys, Analog Pussy, Azax Syndrom, Rinkadink, System Nypel, Electro Sun, Chromossome, Andromeda, etc; and with Mariana start to produce psytrance parties called Under Attack. Later the feeling for music get so strong that they start to produce psychedelic music and after several releases and the amazing impact of their debut album "Insane" they decided to found a label called Trance Lab Records. With this label they released their 2º studio album "Morning Madness" pure full on fire.
