This 8-bit hip-hop/dubstep hybrid is as low-fi as electronic music can get without being steam-powered. It combines simple synth leads and basslines with funk, r'n'b or soul-like rhythms, overall rendering a stripped-down funky sound. The name refers to the use of vintage synthesizers in the production process, were the aim is to "squeeze out" as interesting sounds as possible.
