  1. This is an odd one for me- what the difference between electronic Chill out music & "PSY-chill"?

http://soundcloud.com/dialog My sets are there, but its a very mixed bag........I don't stick to one genre & jump around. I produce electroonic music, so for me its good to dip into other things to break it up a bit. The electronic sets tend to be deep and atmospheric. If you liked this one try "Out of the Darkness" & the 2 sets for Ambiosonic. The 90's was big with me also: "Cosmic Purple Sofa mix" - 90's electronic chill out "Hey Good Looking!"- 90's atmospheric drum & Bass "Molineux Underpass" & "Horizontal Hold" are more of the 90's madchester type of sound.
  3. http://soundcloud.com/dialog/hey-good-looking My tribute to the 1990's Good Looking atmospheric drum n' bass sound. Happy memories of seeing LTJ Bukem, Blame and MC Conrad in the mid nineties............this is my favourite style of drum n' bass.......deep all the way. KMC- Orbiting Probes Blame- Solitude Chameleon- Links PFM - One and Only Intense- Positive Notions Seba & Lotek- Universal Music Artemis- Elyesian Fields JMJ- In too Deep Blame- Overhead Projections Blu Mar Ten- Global Access Blame- Visions of Mars
  4. http://music.taoyoyo.com/album/jam-ep-retroyoyo3 Final release of the year. 4 studio jam sessions between me & Alan (taoyoyo). With 2 bonus Dialog> remixes ------------------------------------ The third and (for now) final installment of the retroyoyo series, featuring previously unreleased tracks from Alan Platten (taoyoyo) and Andy Smith (Dialog>). The first four tracks are live jams, capturing the moment, playing around in different genres (drum and bass, techno and trance inspired). The two bonus cuts are arranged, final mixes of 'Ummo' and 'Bigger Than One', completed by Andy at a later date.
  5. Dialog vs Gel Sol on “Peppermint Sine Waves” compilation http://hermetechmastering.com/examples.html ‘Peppermint Sine Waves Volume 1‘ is a free downloadable compilation from Hermetech Mastering, featuring Gregg Janman’s pick of the tracks and artists he has mastered this year. The compilation opens with ‘Diving for Pearls’- a track I co-wrote with Alan, released under his taoyoyo alias. The Dialog> remix of the Gel-Sol track “Cool Sweet Awesome Yay!” closes the album. I was pleased with this liquid dub interpretation. Gel-Sol is well worth checking out and the original track appears on his album “Unifactor” released by Upstairs recordings. http://gel-sol.blogspot.com/ --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  6. http://music.taoyoyo.com/album/jello-ep-retroyoyo1 Alan (taoyoyo) is a producer who I worked with for many years. This is his debut release taken from sessions we did in 2003. A few of the these tracks have been in my recent sets (including Ambiosonic). I assisted in the writing the original track. The 2 remixes happened a couple of years later- these remixes are included in this release. Free on Bandcamp. Cheeky deep house to make your feet smile.
  7. Haunted Memories EP 1 Remixes of the Beaufort Scale track "Daytripper" from Dialog>, The Irrisistable Force & Tudor Acid. A downtempo electronic affair. I'm very happy to be part of this release as "The Irrisistable Force" (Mixmaster Morris!) was one of my early ambient inspirations.
  8. Hee hee- Thanks for downloading. hope you enjoyed the tunes.
  9. http://soundcloud.com/dialog/dialog-the-purple-sofa-mix A mix of 90's Old Skool Chill- the sort of thing we used to listen to lying comatose on our purple sofa, watching the ceiling dance back in the day. 10. SKPR white asked if they could release an old Dialog> track recorded in 2003. Its called "Diving for Pearls"- its slightly more leftfield than usual, but still deep & techy without being 4 to the floor. Its one I'd forgotten about- but its pretty good. Recorded when I was still working with Alan (taoyoyo- who does the Dialog> art). Its mostly his track. Its free- so help yourselves! http://skprecordings...bum/december-09 If you are interested in the official albums see: http://dialogmusic.com/music.htm Echaskech did a great remix also of Gothic Monks. http://soundcloud.co...s-echaskech-mix

http://soundcloud.com/dialog/dialog-ambiosonic-2009 Dialog-Ambiosonic-2009 Some of my highlights from Ambiosonic 2009 in France, compiled from music given to me by the artists I met there. Most of these tunes were played at the festival and have special memories for me. Thanks to those I met who gave me new music to listen to. This mix barely scratches the surface of all the good quality music that was played that weekend, but was still fun to put together. Wavespell- WhiteWispers ChillinBerlin- Magnet (from Mindwaves Plantation) Kickbong- Something better Terra 9 - No return Akira Club- More than expected Dialog> -Once upon a time in West London Cinematic Orchestra- All that you give (Dj Sydney) Boards of Canada- Dayvan Cowboy (Mixmaster Morris) HUVA network-Something Heaven (Shaktipat) Lipo- Soft contact Satoshi Tomile/Luca Bacchettti remix- Solar Wind (Yuka) Squazoid- Circle Mind (excerpt from the track to serve as an outro)
