If anyone's interested, I've put together an ambient/dark ambient mix. A few of the artists in the mix have been mentioned on this thread. It's my first mix, so could be improved, in particular the first part of the mix is a bit quiet. Others have already mentioned Orbital, but I'd like to mention one track in particular, Remind, from the 1993 album Orbital 2. The rest of the album is what might you might call trance and ambient dub, but that track definitely sounds like Goa trance, 303 and all.
