hmm, thats right.. it wasnt. But i did have it on cd back then, where did i even get it from ? 🤔 i mean tetrahedron. oh well, maybe not, it was a while ago. im not really that interested in pirate places but i suppose if thats the only way ? then thats the only way.

im curious though, where did the pirates from back then, get it from? what is the original source? i guess is my question. im talking 98-00 around that time. i think i used either napster or audiogalaxy or some sht like that back then to get the most goa trance tracks. really curious where they ripped it from...

    thanks mantra604

Yeah Audiogalaxy was full of unreleased tracks.

  2. Basic fact is that meat does not contain any special nutrient that is not available elsewhere with the exception of vitamin B12, which is given to livestock as a supplement in high doses (because mammals do not actually produce vitamin B12, bacteria produce B12). And there's really no reason to pass your B12 tablet through a cow before consuming it.

So there is really no good reason to be eating meat other than "I like the taste", which is a personal choice (one that most people make as a matter of routine rather than consciously) . But it is a choice that comes with many consequences to the planet, to the animals which need to die, and to the psyche of the person who makes that choice.

I say psyche because the vast majority of people do everything possible, mentally speaking, to separate the act of eating meat with the reality of what that entails. It creates a form of denial, a lie that you tell yourself, a part of you that you ignore and keep quiet because you do not want to be made aware of the internal contradiction. It's quite literally a form of cognitive dissonance. And I personally do not think it's a healthy way to live.

Stopping the consumption of meat lifts a great burden from the psyche and frees us to live more fully and in tune with our principles.

    I highly recommend it.

Yes "I'm being serious right now". Wasn't that obvious? Why are you mad? It was pretty crystal clear why I commented here, or so I thought.

You are accusing others of bringing politics into it when nobody has done such a thing and you are the one and only person bringing politics into it, in the very same post.

You seem more concerned about the possibility of being asked to condemn terrorist actions than you are about the victims of those actions.

Seriously, don't you have anything better to do than troll message threads where people are sharing sympathies of victims of heinous crimes?

Has it occurred to you that members on this forum know some of these people personally?

If you don't have anything nice to say then rather don't speak at all.

is psynews gonna make us choose now between "supporting" israel or "supporting" a region that has been devastated by the israel state, for decades, in the general psytrance forum? thats just great.. =( im not saying isreal deserved it, because clearly, this "attack" was targeting random civilians, so theres no excuse, and it is horrific....

what hamas did was inexcusable, impossible to support that. what isreal has done to palestine for the past 50 or whatever years also inexcusable. but please dont turn the forum political. i dont want to choose, and i dont want to have to.

Are you being serious right now? You're the only one bringing this up. Nobody has mentioned a single thing about politics. Nobody except you.

just my 2 cents, for whatever its worth. i thought "General Psytrance" was for music

You can keep your 2 cents. Why are you even commenting here?

260 of our psytrance brothers and sisters have just been savagely and senselessly murdered.

    Have some common decency.

You can’t believe anything the media says. They said 260 bodies. 700 missing. One guy is quoted at the party saying 50 terrorists popped out in vans. But you can’t trust any of it because they just make up quotes a lot of the time

it was a big party though obviously if Astral Projection was supposed to be there.

They had a huge Buddha statue maybe they’re targeting Buddhist or vedic culture

As far as I can tell, 260 is the official number. For now. It was only 120 yesterday.

The party was attended by 4000-5000 people.

Here is what the venue looks like now:

And the terrorists do not care what your philosophy of life is. In other areas not far from the party venue they entered homes and executed families. They executed and kidnapped children and elderly people. But they mostly kidnapped young girls so they can rape them.

They go after the weakest first.

And there is plenty witness testimony. People do not have photographic memories and don't have the habit of "counting" people they see, so saying you "can't trust" a witness that said he saw 50 terrorists come out of vans is an odd thing to say. Expecting some kind of definitively proven count is even stranger.

EDIT: The figure of 260 comes from ZAKA which is the search and rescue organization involved.

  6. Horrible stuff coming out now.

Witness accounts describing mass executions of people trying to hide in the bushes.

Video of about a dozen girls in a room fearing for their life with a terrorists shouting at them and shooting a machine gun into the air.

Large tent full of psy tribe members' dead bodies. Some with their hands tied behind their backs. Some with parts of their body burned off.

    Absolutely devastating.

My heart goes out to all the friends and family.

    A terribly sad day.

    hello

i've always been wondering where the words on these tracks come from:

the second one is an unreleased (as far as i know) track by Orestis and madianbrains, i'm just looking where the dialogue is from

    thnx for ur time =]

Second one is from the series "Legion", season 2 episode 1.

    - Does he know?
    - Calm down.

    - I think he knows.
    - He doesn't know.

Then why'd he leave? That was weird.

    Are you the magic man?

  8. Ok the word "believe" is misplaced because we (should) know that evolution is reality...

Question is... do you actually acknowledge the evolution of psychedelic trance or are you stuck in some kind of plateau where you cannot distinguish between an enhancement and the low rez original?

What's the story? Do you guys not have psychedelics available or are you just too lazy to take them?

This forum used to be discussing and reviewing the CUTTING EDGE of music, now it's a bunch of people chasing artifacts of the 90's.

    WAKE UP GUYS

TAKE SOME LSD AND GO TO A PARTY!!!!!!!

How can you not tell the differencen between this:

    And this:     ???

Our music is still pushing the cutting edge to this day, please dump the memorial vibes and wake up to a glorious reality that's happening RIGHT NOW.

This is one of my favourite tracks in the genre. It's an older track, back when this style was emerging.

Although I don't like other Rev tracks (his Amusia album is a complete snoozefest) this one is awesome mostly for the playfull bass, especially from 5:14 and onwards. This is why I believe this style would be even better with most interesting basslines.

There's also the most extreme version of UK psytrance that blends with darkpsy/hi-tech and it's IMO vastly more intreresting.

Awesome but not really what I am after.... people are saying UK but I think what I'm talking about  is post-UK...  Idk I used to listen to a lot of Southwild and stuff but haven't for a while... maybe the UK evolved their basslines while I wasn't looking? Or maybe I'm tripping...lol (I actually listened to some 2014 Southwild after typing this and that shit is sick)

    Anyways review:

The first one you really feel like you are getting sucked into a fractal washing machine by the end. Very sick track... still sounds old school though...a lot of looping to get you there....

Second track is not really my kinda vibe so I can't really comment...

First track is really nice though...

I'm more talking about this kinda stuff: Basically your body is jamming to some sick melodic bassline which is the center of the track, while your brain is overwhelmed by crazy sounds, trying to make sense of it all...

On my laptop right now with no bass speakers so might not be the best example but I think it should sound pretty sick:

Dunno...to me this sounds so alive and fresh...

I do agree with the consensus though, maybe if they keyed those noisy sounds into more melodic structures they would change the game... that's what I'm hoping for... Like Altom style leads....

I am really optimistic that we will experience a melodic revolution coming from this sound... Just over the moon that trance has some melody in it again... so sick of hearing monotone bass all night at a party...

On the other hand, who cares about [insert here] when there's stuff like this going around:
