KALUMET - Burlesque - Halu Beats
01. 80 farts around the world
02. All in
03. Wake up Johnny!
04. Dead man's blues
05. Let me be your magic gadget
06. "No Vidra" dance school
07. Slapstick
08. Suck my track
09. Fool me like a stranger
10. Nervous Buddha
You know him! You know him very well! Anyone who is in that kind of underground deep beats and bass emotional way of expression must know this already well renowned funky, funny progressive style project. Ladies and gentleman, will just say KALUMET!
Long time waiting first album finally saw the light of electronic music scene. As we all know from previous works, Your and my expectations were completely fulfilled. This album continues in the same manner. From the very start appear quite interesting clips of different music background that fill associated elements of created tracks. Halu Beats & Kalumet, with united forces, are playing the "rules" of arrangement music composition. From moment to another, listeners can feel super grooves with even visual tracks themes. In my opinion, something totally different from everything what we used to hear lately. Something that I would recognize from distance at places like big festival fields with huge line up. More then like it!!! As artist said, this is like collection of 5 years of hard working of Kalumet project. Pretty damn good collection. It feels that the album was created a long time, as it should be, from lot of difference in tracks and styles. It's colorful and diverse, just like the cover art.
Speaking of cover art, it attracts me totally. Fits into what's covered and gives the impression of abstract art, inside and outside as well.
"Makedonsko devojce" track sample thats show up somewhere in the middle of album fascinated me, especially cause I am from that region and it's totally recognizable for me, but also will be interesting to rest of Kalumet listeners all over the globe, I am pretty sure in that.
Must mention that grooves in tracks are not fast, offensive or hard. It's more like floating drive with lot of techno motives, which is the best approach to beat for me then first mentioned way of expression. During the album listening I notice that whole composition sound like mixed CD music and again all tracks on CD are story for themselves and can be played separately, without interference. That's the details, I know, but details that I notice and respect. Classical music motives are full strike!!! Break the story of previouse track, but not the composition of album, and lead me in to story of next one, much better than the track started without that classical music part. If you people, know what I mean? Will try to describe like: "Drive me! Break me! Touch me! Drive me!" Totally unpredictable and innovative in one new shape. Not to forget parts in tracks with break beat bars that sound like type machine with industrial touch of 90's. I didn't want to separate album by tracks but must admit that "Slapstick" drives me arround totally. I heard even The Prodigy, Crystal Method, Filter and similar style inside. Of course stomping beat is wonderful. Let's say that this one is, so far, my favorite. But to be honest, it is difficult to separate them.
Long story short, all I know is that I would like to hear him live at some big sound system. I wanted in earlier period too but after this album I must!!!
Thank to force majeure on this kind of minds, otherwise I really don't know what would've I listen.
God bless artistic freedom ))
P.S. to artist: Haha yeah... about that MSN thing... you got me...hehe...

Cybered "Root Out" EP SMR022
Cybered is a solo project of techno-trance dj Edward Cybered from Moscow (born in 1979). ?fter hearing the album of Juno Reactor ? Transmission in 1994, he began his trip into mysterious lanes of psy and goa trance. In 1995 he visited a trance party for the first time, and shortly after he started to make music by himself. He and his brother, had been using for it tracker-program, making their first steps in creating goa and acid trance music. In 1999 he was a part of demo-scene under the name of Sadman.
With the millenium coming, Edward became interested in the progressive techno vibrations and founded a psytechno project called Cybered.
So very soon the creativity of this project has attracted the attention of Alex Tolstey, the owner of techno record labels named Boshkebeats records and Horns&Hoofs Entertainment.
With the assistance of Alex, Horns&Hoofs Entertainment had released the tracks of Cybered project worldwide. From 2001 till late 2004, Cybered has beed a resident of Swedish label Moonflower Records.
During that period he actively worked on the development of Horns&Hoofs label, released several mixes as a dj, toured a lot, acted on the festivals and a lot of parties in Russia and abroad and also organised first psy-progressive and psytechno parties in Moscow.
Besides that, Edward is a founder of psytrance project Manifold, which has released 2 full leight albums on such labels as DejaVu rec. , Sunstation rec. and a lot of tracks on different VA. More info about Manifold is available on page: http://myspace.com/manifoldproject
In 2009 Edward founded his own mastering studio (Manifold-studio.com), where he makes high quality mastering and mixing.

ASTRONIVO - instrumental valeu - Tribal vision records (TVRCD027)
01.One to Start
02. It's All Gone
03. King Lighter
04. Ah, Das Ist Gut
05. Sexually Compulsive
06. Pressing the Button
07. Dancing Q
08. Voc Ab
09. Old Granny
10. Reveal
Fresh and new! In the name of Tribal Vision records as usually. AstroNivo, progressive trechno trance duo that present them self in previous Tribal vision releases and one of them, that will stay remembered, is for shore JAIA remix album where those guys show us from what they made
New album by the name "Instrumental Value" with full lenght release of 10 extraordinary tracks is in front of me as cover shape and inside of my CDplyer as music shape.
As the first track say "On the Start" and I can say very well start for this neverending story. Reapetative motives of minimal sound but still enough lines to describe this huge masterpiece as very danceble music for home treat as on the dance floor. Disco elements and pumping grooves talk about much more then we need. Just shut up and dance. Sometimes as agressive aproach but sometime as peaceful flow, AstroNivo like to lead us in, just on fist sight old dimension, but in complete meaning of totally new leavel with jumping groove of their music. Massive bell effects and lot of congos, percussion and breaking sticks rhythms, totally match as the name of label, tribal expirience for whole new vision. Deep fat basslines, as pad floating lines or gate effect of expression, this songs makes me wanna dance in right way of that words. Splashing sound, spray parts and histerical cartoon bars are enough for me to find this release very interesting and worth to be reviewd by my self. Pretty damme good combination of everything. Dark or light, sad or happy, mad or smiley, here we have everything in every moment in the same time and without loseing sense of composition in arrangement. Brave and smart from those two heads that create this debute album, if i'm right about debute thing? Becide of that this release perfectlly fit in Tribal Vision style and I think that will perfectlly fit in many CD cases of lot of minimal-prog-techno DJs. This kind of style take more and more and I can say that this one is the bulls eye on electronic music scene.
Guy and Niv, congratulation guys and keep those dreadlocks on the knobs during the performance
To Slater and the crew, please, try to disapoint me just one time cause I miss space at my CD shelf
Keep that way.
Respect!

OMEGAHERTZ – Anamorfoplasis – ELXIS DiscoGraphic
Label: Elxis DiscoGraphic, Elxis DiscoGraphic
Catalog#: EDGCD62009, EDGCD62009CD
Format: CD, Album
Country: Greece
Released: 09 Jul 2009
Genre: Electronic
Style: Psy-Trance, Goa Trance
Tracklist:
1. Psychedelic Valley (feat. Silvie P.)
2. Goan's Land
3. As Ias Is
4. Walking On The Other Side
5. Infant Galaxy (feat. Anastasia Alexiou)
6. Fantapsy Trip
7. Strawberry Tale
8. Chasing Colorful Spheres (feat. Anna A.)
9. Wonderful Times (feat. Silvie P.)
10. Without Destination
11. Morning Starlight
12. Adolescent Meditations
Time of Goa trance music slowly returned from the forgotten sound of outdated music. As for me, termin "outdated music" does not exist but lately we can hear it very often. Of course, developing of mention style is not near of early conception but its in very good level. One of artists that keeps Goa Trance alive is well known producer from Greece, mister Dimitrios Pouranis from Omegahertz project and owner of trance label ELXIS DiscoGraphic.
The topic of my today's review is the debut music album of Omegahertz project under the name "Anamorfoplasis", which came out for the above mentioned label. Admirers of his sound, before everything, remember the extraordinary piece that was released for also Greek label, Unicorn Music, in colaboration with serbian Goasia project on collab album "Pure Planet vol. 2 and a series of compilations that occurred prior to this realization. Trust that he earned with earlier work justified with this release which is carefully arranged. Up to 12 tracks presented in collaboration with many friends and colleagues.
Carefully observing CD cover, I came to the conclusion that in creation of this album participated truly impressive number of people. Bunch of the track are vocal characters, which can be classified into a kind of innovation Goa Trance sound. Regardless of that I'm absolutely not into such a combination, anyway that dosen't mean I'm not support any kind of expression that the artist wants to show. Although that bassline is newer date, rest of elements breathed spirit of old School trance to this tracks. By the way a new approach to bassline and the track arrangement is a great trick to approximate the old sound of the new generations. Some poeple would say that it is one kind of fullon sound, but certainly that would not be completely true, because in this style, mentioned bassline runs through totally softer touch of the fullon and still gives the energy of the rhythm. Once again, no matter on filters that are consistent with the arrangement today's psychedelic dance music, melodious justifies name of stily that the project preferred. I would mention a moment of combining various ethnic instruments like flutes, timpans, bells, tambourines and other strings. Very interesting combination and I believe that would also reflect on the audience during live performance. Of course, we can not avoiding inevitable acid lines modulated at TB303 and similar synthesizers. A very interesting item at this project is, even after album listening, could easily conclude that the artist approached the whole story with a huge dose of enthusiasm. My personal favorite is the track on position 4 under the name "Walking On The Other Side".
Regards to Dimitrios and all the best in future

LIQUID FLOW - THE PRESENCE (KAGCD125)
Label: Kagdila Records
Catalog#: KAGCD125
Format: CD, Album
Country: US
Released: 27 Nov 2009
Genre: Electronic
Style: Goa Trance
Track List:
1. The Presence
2. Old Temple
3. Unknown Life
4. Analog Boost
5. Yang
6. Tribal Vision
7. Awakening
8. Ionic Charge
9. MicroSpace
10. Black Valley
For someone new comer, for someone already well known goa trance producer and performer, Tomislav Savic aka Liquid Flow, appears with his debut album release for well known trance label, Kagdila records. After few very successful single releases such as, very first release for independed mixed compilation " CTGMusic Trance Mix " for CTG Music , solo EP "Goa terminal" at Shivlink rec, VA Human Hyperactivation for now there are no existing Metapsychic records, Goa Times (Now and Then) compilation for Shivlink rec, VA Alternative Colorous at Ezel-Ebed, VA Beyond The Milky Way for Green Eye Pro and VA People Walk Funny for Cronomi rec, Liquid Flow present himself to the trance scene with full lenght album release under the name "The Presence". Album contain 10 extraordinary tracks twisted in the right old schoole clothes. By the new way of production, guy was able to retain the pure spirit from '90. To be honest, he is one of my all time favour Goa Trance producers. Why? Because he gave all of himself to approach in the right way to no simple stily of trance music. Whole album si full of carefully selected elements that will represent the tracks in the best form. Complexity and melodious what characterized this genre, which is present here in large quantities. Maximal used the possibility of an extremely popular synthesizer 303 is pretty much evident. This is the high score bingo if you ask me. The album is very melodic, energetic and positive! Culminates in a charge of emotion from song to the song, reveal feelings that have been made in every second of this creation. Especially, i like deep, blimp and huge kick that lead every elements behind. Usually, according by releases from 10 or more years ago, kick was almost in the 2nd plane, but here I very good production allow to that element to be highlighted in one of the primary layers of tracks. I must point on very great skill of vocal modifications. Words in the texts make sense on the first place and using effects on voclas is very creative.
The best lift up break have first track who is the holder of the album name and that track is also the best track on album, as for me.
This release is definitely top of the album release in Goa Trance published year 2009.
Thank you Tommy for that, I can freely say, a masterpiece!!!
Stay green!

JAIA - RE:WORKS
Label: Tribal Vision Records
Cat. No.: TVRCD026
Release Date: November 2009
Format: CD
Tracklist:
1- Mai-Mai (Silicon Sound remix)
2- Drifting Planet (Astronivo & DJ Slater remix)
3- The Milky Way (feat. Aurora Borealis)
4- Electric Sunrise (Even 11 remix)
5- Serial Groover (Jaia live mix)
6- Out of Orbit (Vibrasphere remix)
7- Serial Groover (Kiwa remix)
8- Drifting Planet (Martin Roth remix)
9- L'ivresse Des Profondeurs (Blue Planet Corporation remix)
No way that you can call yourself pure true admirer of progressive trance music If you not enjoyed the sounds of well know, great progressive trance producer under the name "JAIA". Yannis Kamarinos, great legend of mentioned style, after a series of very successful releases, this time brings us huge collaboration with lot of very successful big names like Blue Planet Corporation, Vibrasphere, Silicon Sound, some of, for my term, new awesome producers like Astronivo, Kiwa, Martin Roth, Aurora Borealis, also well know collab project between Jaia and Silicon Sound "Even 11" and of course head cheef of releasing label Tribal vision, DJ Slater. There is few great hits from earlier days that contain today's elemnets of new progressive style with minimalistic touch. I can say that all the remixed version is very much worthy of earlier original ideas. Lately, I'm a big skeptic of remixed tracks version, which can not be said for this release. Except of minimalistic beats and forms in tracks, I'm really glade that producers retained melodious. Of course, no matter of that was one of my favorite tracks, remix of "The Milky Way", on this release, shared the same position as the original version. Simply, this is a theme that always buy me. :-) Other tracks also, contain so much positive energy and beautiful warm colors of sound. All of them play calm and easy flow, but at the same time have club polished and dynamic expression. For my mind, pure enjoyment.
Otherwise, becide lot of housy elements in almost every track I totally like to say that beat at Vibraspheres remake is the best on whole release as for me. Also great background with acid lead from an old great times. Perfection!
Kiwa has become "Mr. Oizo flat beat" in this remix :-) Rubber drive with a drop of break beats. I like it. Totally different approach from other. So, practically, here we pass through different styles. And at the end cup of ambiental spirit by Blue Planet. Nice. According of access to today's electronic music this CD will find the way to the many, different style, cases.
I need to mention that I'm extremely pleased cause Tribal Vision is publisher of this release. I think that sound is more the fit in to their story. Another big, another important!!!
Dance!

AGAIN!!!
Its a big pleasure to announce excellent night progressive techno trance project from South Africa. Its about great producers duo under the name Cold project which is again on our list for shooting EP!!!
This time in collaboration with same style project OPSY!!!
Cold project are Ian Jukes AKA G.E.M_37 (1978) and Ivan Steyn AKA Sense (1978). Both hail from completely different musical backgrounds, but both have common interests in dark electronic dance music produced in early 2000's by the names like Son Kite, Tegma, Ticon and many more scandanavian forest-trance producers. Cold Project is formed in late 2005, with a will to create something dark and different in the local South African scene and with aim to create music that bridges the ever growing gap between progressive and fullon trance.
Cold Project intent to make music with enough headroom to get lost in, within the darker spectrum of trance. Over the years they have tweaked their sound into something special. A sound that is true to the word progressive as each live set aims to take you from the lighter sideof the evening all the way into deep night time progressive. The music is serious and moody with big sounds and grinding electronic beats.

01. Home (Original mix)
02. Home (Umek remix)
Successful album called "After Dark" has turned increasing attention to the already well-renowned design and successful young producers from Serbia, under the parent label, "Tribal Vision". What attracted me attention the most in this edition is a combination of artists and label in the composition of newly EP. Music presented on a high level with an excellent selection of guest who is in charge of the remix version. Excellent marketing and collaborative move.
As a one of greatest techno mind on electronic music scene, Urosh Umek takes a good place on this release and with his skills complement the new "Home" single. As the biggest cooperation fan, have to admit that this reslease show that in one of the best forms of contemporary. Both versions are equally good quality and have a pretty good groove. The only plus that relates remix is energetic drumkick. Everything else is a matter of taste, in my oppinion.
Very great move of artist who is the carrier of EP and label that has issued it.
Should take a high place on many charts all over the globe. Actually, I'm kind of pretty shore in that
Spin it!
