It is a revelation of your essence, hidden by long eons of self-delusion, ignorance, unbounded desires. Enlightenment is an ending as well as a beginning: the ending of the old, veiled, dark ego, its longings, illusions, frustrations; the beginning of a vast expanse, an infinite field of the Unknown, an adventure in consciousness. It is a revolution: it represents danger to the old way of life, to old ways of thinking and living. It is freedom from the known and the unknown; from the real and the unreal; from any appearance of division between you and Truth. It is the abandoning of beliefs, dis-beliefs, presumptions and stances, self, ego, call it what you will, or call it nothing, what it is. Starting out with OM-Tribe in Melbourne, Australia, she has contributed extensively to the Victorian Psy Trance community for the past 18 months as an Artist/Promoter/Organizer/Photographer. Kimberly's dj sets shift from, groovy tempos, to fully embracing, melodic, uplifting vibrations. But her outdoor sensibilities and years of delving in soundscapes still shine through in track selection and overall feel, and she has a unique take on these genres. Tools of choice, these days are 200 cdj's and a 400 mixer pioneer, for mixing. 2007 has seen Kimberly join the PsyPneumatix Records with the intention of producing her first track with PsyPneumatix. Previously, Kimberly had her beginnings in Maleny, on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, helping with some of the inspiring events organized by Positronic crew, held on her friend's property. Digging toilet pits, clearing noxious weeds and planting trees on the land, making and sharing incredible moments with friends. These gatherings, inspired the extent of her contribution seen around the hills of Victoria recently. Sharing music, for Kimberly, is likened to, a wonderful, warm, embrace from a friend but done with fat, wide, groovy bass lines, a mad grin from ear to ear and a large dose of bouncing and wiggling behind the decks. Some have said its pretty entertaining... How does it go....Show me the LOVE!! oh, hang on, I think that was the money, but, doesn't matter....Show me the LOVE!!! Tehehe.....The hills are alive with the sound of Boom, Boom, Boom. Kimberly's other passions are Photography, this is her fourth year of study, majoring in Commercial and Multimedia at RMIT University. She has completed, a Diploma of Photography in Queensland, while being accepted into the Degree in Melbourne, she is currently half way through her degree and has eighteen months, before completing her Bachelor of Arts at RMIT. She has been actively completing commercial and freelance photography jobs for private clients for the past two years, whilst studying. Kimberly has other side projects in the pipe line. A Collaboration project involving other artists to launch an exhibition, Audio Cd and Publication. Kimberly would love to travel the world, with her son playing music to Shiny, Happy People of all cultures. Lifting the vibration of joy of our collective consciousness. Kimberly's son, red headed, Jake, is a huge inspiration and joy in her life. Jake is currently learning how to mix and to take images, himself. Jake has been learning piano for the past two years and intends to produce music himself. Jake will be eight in August.
