  1. You can expect them, and mp3 320kb/s as well. ;)

We got all the mastered wav's, we're working on the online transfer now. To keep you in patience, I let there a two min samples preview for each track: http://www.sendspace.com/file/lta6k4

The compilation will be released before the end of the week, if things go as expected. :drama:

Wow listening to the preview samples right now, i really notice the theme for this compilation seem more uptempo then the pyramidal disc that was slowly building up this is more energy drive :) crazy listening now to liquid flows track :drama: :posford: :posford:

  2. actually as I don;t use my posters I'm happy to give them away as long as whoever wants them will pay me postage (I accept paypal)... pm me :D

The Journey Man you got pm :)

edit: im really really interested in the infected mushroom poster and yahel + astral and prana , of course

  3. Ok... i'm sick of it!

Why is everybody releasing their cds in digipacks (the paper boxes for cds... like the goa heads etc) these days?

I HATE digipacks so much... Why?

    1. this week I was into town and a thunderstorm passed, because of the wind it rained like 50 cm inside my room (my window was still open), so some digipacks became wet and look like seawaves now :(

    2. I had a digipack with the middle broken (the thing that holds the cd), because it's a digipack, you can't replace it! Grrr

    3. When I have to play on parties, and I bring digipacks, they look like 10 years old after 5 gigs!

So I would vote normal cd boxes over digipacks all the time...! is it just me...?

I agree i also hate digipacks, in fact i have cut of the front and back covers of all my goa head cds to make them fit in my cd bag

  4. The old school goa posters they sent do the disc stores where beautiful :) i always bought them, i have one left very nice Eternal Trance with some hebrew text and it says Astral Projection as well but in english, i have no clue why since they are not on that compilation :S

  5. I have some good news to bring regarding the VA/Human Hyperactivation!!

After some months of silence, it will be finally released the coming days, most probably next week if everything will come as expected. It's Dave of Infinite Dimensions who did the mastering, because Kenneth (Colorbox) was too busy with his personal life and we would have waited some more months before to sort it out. Filipe told me yesterday that the mastering is finished, so just the free online distribution of the VA/ remains. :)

    Stay tuned! :)

Great news and a perfect summer release :-) cant waith to hear this one.

  6. I don't think Reason has a lack of low end to the basslines you can get out of it, it just produces lackluster sounds.

Frosty, I'm afraid you probably won't get any sounds that will overly impress you out of Reason. I don't really know what kind of sound you want, but since you want a full on bass sound, I'd say pay attention to the attack. Not the Attack parameter of the envelopes, but the attack of the sound. On both the volume envelope and the filter modulation envelope.

Worst bullshit i have ever heard.

  7. I was a fan from mp3.com days and I'm glad to see he's still at it Link

Has made some great goa as well as regular trance.

I saw his name beeing named on some myspace on influences, so i thought hey lets check how his music sounds.. i was a bit disapointed when listening to his goa tracks, they where pretty cheesy in my point of view.. maybe i missed out some newer tracks that where better? If so could you recommend some tracks?

  8. Can you mention (name ) some specific scales for Goa/psy Trance and which keys are the best ones. just some examples :posford:

    C Jewish (Ahaba Rabba) Scale

    intervals: 1,b2,3,4,5,b6,b7

    half-steps: 1-3-1-2-1-2-2

    notes: C,Db,E,F,G,Ab,Bb

    C Theta, Bhairav Scale

    intervals: 1,b2,3,4,5,b6,7

    half-steps: 1-3-1-2-1-3-1

    notes: C,Db,E,F,G,Ab,B

And with infinite variations of course.

  9. Thank you, heard the songs there and im liking it, though I would like a little bit slower songs.. Around 105-115 BPM.

    lolbob.

Hehe thats a bit slower indeed, there is an underground goa artist that calls him self: redstorm he makes slow goa around 110 bpm and slower

  10. Google it, its very fuzzy though. First of all, its a very long process, and it will cost you a LOT of money to sue someone for libel on an internet-forum. Laws differ from country to country, and the EU has not yet decided on how it shall work.

Problem on the internet is integrity to prove who someone is behind an internet nick/alias or his ip is no easy task, and isp providers dont give that type of information out so easy, so basically this would never work in court of law, but i can understand the laws are different in all the countries around the globe and i base my opinions on the european view on things ;) Here in sweden isp providers would only give out the ip to the police if a serious crime has been made and some flaming on a forum sure isnt enought for police here, they have lots of more important things to take care of.

  11. We however have to take it serious, until we know what the deal is. Please respect that.

Sure i respect it :) but still it is a new thing for me, never ever hear about anything similar over the years.

    Anyways good luck.

  12. Hehe welcome to internet.. this is indeed something of the most stupid i have ever come across in my life using the interwebs lol, people should go out and take some fresh air and not be whining about law suits for some bull shit on a forum xD  :drama: :drama: E-Drama

  13. it looks like you took a trance artists list from somewhere and filtered out the 98/99 and above...

anyway, I wouldn't call some of these "melodic goa" like: Kailum, killing joke.. but for most of them are you right :P

No i took it from my personal myspace, its a list i have my self by looking at what artist i listen to in winamp, and yes some might be less melodic, but still wortch checking out if you like goa since they where a part of what made this music genre to what it is. Since its a fusion of different elements.

Like for example Hallucinogen, not very "Goa" melodic in the sence of using indian scales and stuff, but still a classic goa trance artist, apperaring on various goa trance compilations.

And btw that thing about filtering out artists after 98/99 couldnt be more wrong since i have included new school goa acts as well: Astrancer, Merr0w, Mindsphere, Lost Buddha, Pandemonium, Sine Die.

So next time try to check facts before making a judgement ;)

  14. Funny Filipe,

Your Mad Scientist track was the last one I uploaded to my iTunes so... every time I hear new samples from other stuff they upload above it. Then I delete them and the Mad Scientist track starts playing. Because of this I must have heard this thing over a dozen extra times and I just let it pay. I think it's great. I love the melodies. They're comfortable and engaging. The opening pulls me in and I have to hear the whole song.

So when are you releasing this thing? Any ideas? I want to hear the whole thing! Let's go! :clapping:

I have made a remix of the track: A Mad Scientists Night, you might like it or hate it ;-) its available to hear on my site www.diaks.com
