Guest PSYDUDE Posted October 1, 2003 Posted October 1, 2003 after reading all that cerfuly i must agree with you,but i also understand the guy from south africa that said that in his town you cant really find psytrance cd's. the situation in Montreal pretty much the same,we have only 2 stores that sell psytrance material. unlike Europe and Israel here you have to download to get what you want otherwise you would never find it and the culture will never grow. but i do understand the rules and will respect them of course after all i love this site :-) thanks alots Quote

Usually did my shopping at Loud and Street Dance, now I mostly only do my shopping from Psyshop. What a great place. Quote

How many times I got those responses asking for Shpongle, Muses Rapt or Hallucinogen. Also Mystery of the Yeti. I can barely find anything. Im in Melbourne, anyone know any stores?? I found Shpongle in the end in a Sanity store. Quote

Record stores in Melbourne.... unfortunately, the one psy record shop closed down... but... you can get some psy @ Euphemism (Chapel Street)... I don't know about the record store above Ministry of Style (Brunswick St), but give it a go... nothing much at Central Station (Swanston St), methinks... Synaesthaesia is good for ambient weirdness.... and there's always some to be found around the 2nd-hand shops, like Dixons. Fetish (Brunswick St) have a reasonable selection... I can't think of anywhere else off the top of my head (it's been a while since I was in Melbourne).... and, of course, check out the aussie forum www.oztrance.com... they have an on-line store, and there's probably people there who can help you better than i can because they're actually in Melbourne. Hope that's of some use to you. Quote
