New Wave Radio returns in May with two hours of killer tunes from two of the psy trance scenes leading lights. Taking a slightly different format this month, hour one sees a live recording from one of Israel’s leading production outfits Psycraft taken from their last UK performance at Anitworld’s Paradise City event at Alexandra Palace in London, this was the final set for the awesome 7,000 capacity event annd makes for essential listening. Hour two we welcome back Nick from Interchill Records to represent the chill out aspect of psychedelic events showcasing upfront tunes from this excellent label.

Psy Craft are Alon Algrqasy and Nir Sidon, one of the hottest and most respected acts from Israel. Having been producing since the mid 90’s Psy Craft have released three artist albums: ‘Gravitech’, ‘New Moves’ and most recently ‘Computech’ on HOMmega and have remixed the likes of Infected Mushroom, Yahel, Space Cat and PsySex. With their tracks being playlisted on Israeli daytime radio as well as receiving media attention worldwide, Psy Craft are definitely one of the more ‘avin it full on trance acts.

Nick Interchill has been pushing the Interchill Records sound for the last decade, the label set up by his cousin Andrew Ross has been responsible for releasing some of the most blissed out downbeat music on the scene. Regularly playing across the globe at psychedelic festivals Nick mixes up many genres fropm the deepest dub to bleepy electronica, minimal ambience and the glitchiest techno. Having compiled the awesome ‘Dissolving Clouds’ compilation for Interchill Nick is definitely one to seek out at this summer’s festivals.
