Guest Mascok
V/A - Shift Artist: Various Title: Shift Label: Hadshot Date: 2000 Track listing: 01. 08'26" Dandandado : Diamond Dust 02. 06'31" Three Point Turn : Paris Parano 03. 09'51" Ticon : Rattle Snake Lolli Pop 04. 06'33" Scarec : Shlimmo Limmo 05. 08'34" Snug As A Bug : Did You Touch Something 06. 08'26" Activate Morlack : Dog On Acid 07. 08'24" Paps : P3 08. 09'45" Rastaliens : 4 Elements 09. 05'56" Eat Meaterr : Chop Suei Review: the cd starts with one of my favorite tracks here from Dandandado called "Diamond Dust". a beautiful track with an amazing and soft melody line, great drumbeat and a happy bassline, really nice openning for this cd. follows that one a new track from one of my favorite psytrance groups, Three Point Turn . this track called "Paris Parano" which is also appears in their new album "By any means necessary" from Alien News (Hadshot Haheizar). a really nice and dark track, with very good drumbeats, fat bassline and great drums!. one of my favorite tracks here as well. after this, track 3 from Ticon, starts with some nice sounds and then the fat heavy bassline comes with a hard kick. a pretty soft psychedelic track except of this fat bassline (in my opinion), which is really good!. good sampling work, a real quality track here!. track 4 from Scarec called "Shlimmo limmo", which in my opinion is not really psytrance. its more techno then trance, didnt like this one much... follows that, a killer track from Sung as A Bug called "Did you touch something". really liked this one, lots of craziness and weirdness, fat and heavy bassline, great drums and all of those together makes this track almost impossible to describe. a reall beauty you have here!, play it loooooooud!. after that crazy track follows it another crazy track, even crazier!. Activate Morlack (-Dog On Acid), brings us pure madness here!. fast beats, fat and heavy basslines, kick ass drums, lots of background fx's samples!. CRAZY!. love this track, one of my favorite here as well!. after all this madness comes a more slow track from Paps called P3. a nice track, didnt really liked it, but its oki!, good drums and fat bass.. nothing else. follows that, a weird and slow track from Rastaliens called "4 Elements", which i find really nice, lots of nice sounds on the background, which makes this track very intersting!. good drums as well, and lots of other goodies here, weird atmosphere here. and listen to those heavy sounds in 7:30+, can really fuck up your brain hehe!. ending this cd is a very weird brakebeat/drum&bass track from Eat Meaterr called "Chop Suei". its not psytrance for sure, but still very nice. starts with a really nice chianess (or japaness) melody, lots of cool sounds in here, pretty good ending track, thats it. really fun track too!... kick ass compilation, if you like this all progressive/minimalistc psytrance scene, then its a must for you!. some tracks are heavy some are pretty soft and cool. i really liked this album except of this Scarec, which in my opinion, does not fit the the psychedelic atmosphere in this compilation!. great cd i would give it 8.5/10!. ENJOY!

Guest FelipeLemosBrasil
This compilation must be highlighted!! All the tracks rules, and its difficult to hear a compilation with all tracks good!! Best from Hadshot so far... Best tracks are : Ticon (a classic), Dandandado, Activate Morlack (Thrash Metal?), Rastaliens (Super hallucinogenic track!) and Paps... 9/
