Guest Carahana
Elysium - Celestial Sounds And Tribal Beats Artist: Elysium Title: Celestial Sounds And Tribal Beats Label: BNE Date: 1998 Track listing: 01. 09'00" Celestial Sounds And Tribal Beats 02. 08'19" Wind Of Dust 03. 08'09" Wild Dance On Naked Feet 04. 06'49" Amanda's Voodoo Experience 05. 09'38" Sacred Fire 06. 08'17" Wisdom 07. 07'16" Painted Faces Review: Kristian Thinning gives us the most beautiful ethno-trance album. Re-released on B.N.E. from the orginal on Nova Zembla in 1997, this album has the whole ethno-oriental vibe running throught it. African/ Indian chants, pipes, flutes, horns make this whole experience worthwile. 'Close your eyes and lsiten you will find yourself on a broad african plain and/ or indian rainforest, there you will dance wildly on naked feet under the starry nite sky with painted faced tribal people, chanting and dancing before there white canvas tents, and sharing wisdom over the sacred fire...'. Take in the whole experience and emotions of this album...enjoy the whole journey.
Guest Snow Dog
Way too minimal for me. I like Elysium, but I think this one could have been worked on a little longer. For instance, there's not enough "tribal beats"! 4/

Guest ecstasymfl[at]bol.com[dot]br
it's a real GOA production....ethnic (it's not psy trance like everybody else). it makes u feel as if u're in paradise, dancing in the middle of a forest, jumping lonely with your own feelings. THAT'S GOA!!!! Analysing the album, the first music is chill-out style, very good, harmonic and it has different sounds, songs, chants, samples...it's real cool, instead of the guitar sound (i hate), but all in all it's nice to relax. the second music is more goaish styly, with a tribal and energetic beats, the samples are superb, the tribal feelings are in it. The next is what the name says....a wild dance, whoa!! that's energetic, the chants are very tribal ritual...ou such as...and i guess it's the more techno here in this album. The fourth is one of the preetiest musics, it looks as if u're in a south america's indian tribe, the flute sounds and the tribal beats are wonderful, unbelievable! it's the shorter music of the album, but it worth a listen...Kix ass!!! the next is other chill-out one, i think it's the worst here, but it doesn't mean it's boring, because it's not, it's really good, ethnic, the samples are great, but it too slow :// (it should have a faster beat). The track 6 is the best here...it's really beaultiful! the chants are mystical, ethnical...(it's the same chant used once by Banco de Gaia's song) but not the same sample, by the middle there's a flute sound with a scream...heehheheeh, perfect!! Ending, "Painte Faces", wow! ohter great music, chill-out again, but here you'll rarely find a working of art like this...this music is really well done, everything on it is amazing, harmonic, pretty and everything else that takes u to paradise. The album deserves 9/10, only because í'd like it to be more "tum tum" style, i mean less chill-out and more goa trance.

seraph
Very good album....This is real ethno album....Great sounds and soothing melodies...Could have been a bit more melodic though ( like trancelestial psychobabas that is his BEST song by far )...but still pretty good....8/
seraph
Besides, I Know that Cristian is reading this reviews cause I saw his comment for something and I can tell you that you are really good which you already know but I have to ask you to make more music like TRANCELESTIAL PSYCHOBABAS, MONZOON and DEVIL'S CIRCUS ( RMX )...Please... Guest ISysoev[at]i.com[dot]ua
I guess this album is VERY peculiar and tripping. It's not GoaTrance in the broad sense of its notion, it's rather ethnic trance. Still this album is one of my favourite ones. Don't quite understand what tr6 Wisdom has to do with it (although a very nice one), it resembles earlier compositions of Deep Forest or smth of a kind. The best tracks are 1 and 2. By the way, I have the version of this album called Celestial Sounds and Neurotic Tribal Beats and its track order is a little different. Does anybody know why? Maybe there released two verions of the same album or smth..... 8/
Guest civ604
2 ISysoev: read the very first post on here (from Carahana) - maybe that's why... I mean Nova Zembla original release of 1997.
Guest Elysium Project
The album was released on Nova Zembla in 1997 but they did an edit of it without my approval and fucked up the track order. The Re-release on BNE is the way I wanted the album to be like eventhough they also fucked up the track order on the CD cover (Wonder how it can be so hard for the record labels to actually read what the artists write down for them?). The correct track order as played on the CD is: 1. Celestial Sounds & Tribal Beats 2. Wild Dance On Naked Feet 3. Amandla's Voodoo Experience 4. Sacred Fire 5. Wisdom 6. Wind Of Dust 7. Painted Faces
seraph
Hello Christian...I was just looking at your text and some previous ones and I noticed that you are swearing very much...HAH, I can't believe that person that is making such beautiful music can swear so much...Yes, I swear too, but not in public like this...that is really bad man...Now, all your stuff that I have heard now don't make sense...Sorry...That was such a shame....When I heard TRANCELESTIAL PSYCHOBABAS I really thought that someone very good and cute is making that music and now I know, It is just slightly frustrated guy ... Pardon me Christian but you have to be conciouss of yourself..at least from someone'e else perspective...
